don't get me wrong, i really love Funk and Nils, but i don't get the hype in this.

he would be like 200% better, if he just played the Trombone, as it is.

i mean, experimental is nice, effects, very nice, but sadly there's no trombone left in this solo.

he is such a great musician, in my eyes, it somehow ruins his skills and reduces everything to electricity.

I saw this gig at the Blue Note and I find it very nice that you can take a simple song and make something COOL with it. And Nils does that. Nice re-arrangement.. plus I also got a free ticket to see it from Nils himself! :)

I can understand why Nils Landgren is doing Abba - he builts on what is already good and a world famous brand for Sweden. I think his concept is funky and good. He makes people want to dance.
