this work is shite and so is his response to criticism, makes me so angry that he defends his work by saying how much money he makes, what a cretin. my grandad was a professional decorator all his life and took great pride in his work. first of all, you don't start in the corner because walls aren't necessarily square. you make a plumb line with a chalked weighted piece of string in the centre of the wall and work your way out. especially with stripes! all shades of wrong

Also get a good bench not like the one in this video that collapses in the middle and i always use a streight edge and blade to do my cutting not scissors would really have liked to see him demonstrating papering a ceiling full of downlights

its much easier to use a medium pile roller to paste the paper , also it is about 20 times quicker and you get a much more even finish
