I've seen it and I say don't see it. Good concept but horrible movie. Absolutely horrible. There was no way for us to understand that his struggle was because he was an immigrant except for his skin color and one or two lines of him. Maybe I'm not too bright but I didn't understand half of it and neither did my friend. The guy that takes him in the rich guy. Horrible actor the girl actress was really good though.They took the easy way out with the ending.
Well I'm not saying its not hard to be an immigrant but I'm saying the movie made very poor choices to portray it and get it across. Example being he was trying to make it as a musician. How is that easy for anyone regardless of their race or stature? What he didn't become famous so that means immigrants have it rough? Not saying they don't but that was an aweful choice, and there are many aweful decisions like that in the movie throughout.
No exactly, the ending was bad. We probably just have different tastes in movies and thats fine. They could have made this one better though in my opinion. I found a lot of things in it were hard to understand, certain scenes, like where there were flashing strobe lights were really hard on my eyes. It was hard to tell when he was in the past and in the present. There is also better ways to portray how redundent his job was without boring the audience by literally just showing him serving tea.
Also when the cat died? That was like very confusing. he picks up pink dust? What? How does that mean the cats sick? Then he makes out with the girl right after he found out his cat was dead, it was so uncomfortable. Yeah oh well the kitty died, lets make out. I will Say the female actress was very good. I was very impressed by that and the movie could have been better for me. Its good you like it though. Thats what artists say right? As long as they reach one person. I'm glad for you.

I apologize if I spoiled this movie for anyone planning to see it, but you don't know me well enough to judge wether I am an intellegent person or not. I didn't like the movie and I gave my reasonings for it. If you disagree fine, but calling me very stupid makes you look very childish and immature.
Sucks that poor immigrants like this don't have many opportunities, but this video just exemplifies that some people work harder not smarter. Half the battle is effort the other half is knowing where to concentrate it (says the 17 year old white American kid with no experience).
