Unions were necessary when they were created, but all they do now is drive labor prices sky high and allow lazy workers to keep there job. What happened to the best man for the best job and if you don't pull your own weight your gone? It's ok though, you just sit back, work 4 hours and get paid for 8, throw on a protest sign and delude yourself that these hard working people are ruining the community. Developers would be using unions if it didn't mean basic laborers making $40 an hour.
