You access it through iDrive in the control display screen, its the only way to go that fast, it improves acceleration but makes handling a little tricky cause it shuts off the dynamic steering system, and the green light above it stands for M Drive, its just custom settings such as shift points, ABS, DSC etc.

speedo is not accurate. 330 km/h? that's the top speed of McLaren SLR man. There is no way M6 matches SLR's top end... It is a lot less than 330 real speed.

You seem don't get the M6 is a BMW, while SLR is a old men's Merc. )

The real speed of one stock M6 is about 310 kmh, but under good conditions (which for example are wind and temperature), a stock M6 is able to reach 330-335 mkh on gps.

And for sure, the SLR can reach over 340(gps), or even 360+ on speedo.

A paddle operated MANUAL transmission with a hydraulic actuated clutch. It is the 2nd fastest transmission in its class with gear changes in up to 80ms with minimal power interruption. Ferrari's Superfast II is the fastest with gear changes in 60ms.

US SPEC? I don't think so. As stated in the ROUDEL all bmw's that come to the states are governed for top speed of 130. I ran into a chap that had a 7 that would do 150, and it was recalled. He didn't know what for, but he found out at the next track event. His car only did 130. And in reality it's only 128 because the speedo's are off by 2 mph. Si I call this bull shit.
