I think the only thing I would add to Apple TV is the ability to read FAT32 external drives and be able to play iTunes-format movies from it.

@xhogger129x But I guess then comes the part where you'd need to have iTunes running because of the stupid DRM procedures so one person can't take and watch a movie at another person's house on their computer.

DRM is so retarded. That's why I use Requiem to remove it.

Appl TV worthless. I own a Google TV and it is badass just needs hulu! The GTV is so nice I may get one for my living room where I have a Server PC setup for a network Multimedia system with a ps3.

sounds kinda to me like google added pretty much all of apple tv's features and more. I'd probably do google tv because I've got a lot of accounts with them like YouTube, GMail, google profile, etc. Plus it's got a LOT more features than apple tv.

NIce job buddy....very nice review. A couple updates....GoogleTV is offered now for $100, I bought mine at tigerdirect(dot)com and you are able to download an app on your android phone for an additional remote. Also, GoogleTV allows you to surf the internet, do online banking, listen to music/radio, movies, tv shows and lots of other feature like board games, MeGenius reading library for kids, etc.
