No, they are not. It is where the game wants you to skate to so you can stay in position. You don't have to follow the blue arrow, of course.

They're are not allowed to put him in the game due to NHLPA rules. It requires you to play a game in the NHL or now AHL to be included. Kane and Toews werent in the initial roster from NHL 08, but they were added in the first roster update.

Yeah, you can be any player. In "Be A Pro" you can even make your own player, skater or goalie, and take him online and join a team and play games 6v6.

Not really. When they show the goal in slow motion, it went in the top left hand corner just barely past the goal line. I thought it was a bug at first to, but then I saw it in slow motion.

In the demo you can play either Pro or All Star, this particually clip was on All Star.

The blue arrows indicate where you are supposed to skate to while on defense in order to stay in position. In the options in the full game, you have the option to turn off the arrow if you desire.

The framerate in the cutscenes is only with the demo. The full version of the game will not have choppy/slow cutscenes.
