This "keep CHRIST in CHRISTmas" argument is so old and misinformed. (I would say ignorant but most people don't understand it, so it's not common knowledge)

The first two letters for the word Christ in Greek is XP (Chi Rho). If you're a devout Christian, you would know that the Chi Rho cross has been used by monks since the 11th century. If anything, the "X" in Xmas is just a substitution for "Christ" in Christmas. You are not literally "X-ing" out Christ, because the X IS Christ.
