So I guess you'll have to give him some hints about what you want from a device in terms of battery life, screen size, keyboard quality, upgradeablilty, noise, heat, performance. etc etc. otherwise its pretty hard to guess whats best for you.

yes your right there are many that are suited for different users... not hardware best because that will always advances... and i want to know which one does HE LIKES THE BEST so far that or more likely to keep... since he is a power user... which is the best / "OK" one for power users to own currently?...
