I remember when i used to kill G silver rathalos' just to get my hands on that allmighty silver rathalos ruby.

It had a 1% drop rate, but i never gave up.

honestly my best strategy for fighting these guys is with a powerful great sword i find it a little easier... but thts just my preference

Please, I need your help! I can't do this mission. The game and the psp I'm using are from a friend that is not here, so I can't ask his help. I don't know how he beated azure Rathalos and Pink rathian. I have the Frost edge + and the Yian Garuga armor except from the leggings, that are the Hi-metal graves+. Can you recommend me a better armor and weapon for this mission? I tried this mission 7 times, but i can't beat them. Help me, plis!

do u like the poison battleax and wats an easy way i can get poison sacs. cuz ive tried the gyceptoreoerios or w/e and he only gives me rubbery hides :( and im on oly on the 3 star quests and the rathalos urguent quest and i just startedddd heloppp :3

@pablopablopablo3 try doing the iodrome quests they usually drop a poison sac and you can get them from rewards too

well..just keep doing the quest over n over til u get it.. try cutting of their tail too..make sure to pet ur pig too..it'll help..good luck!

i think you can only get a pink/gold rathian thorn..you can get them at any rank. just keep fighting the many different pink/gold rathian in the guild. some say to cut off the tail and the two wing spikes and damage the head. some say to not cut off the tail. try these ways and many others. i got 1 pink rathian thorn from the hr2 pink rathian after my first try. got lucky. just need to keep fighting and fighting.

Personally i think Azure rathalos and pink rathian are easy to kill! Well if you have Full Garuga. :) But yeah Poison battleaxe my favorite wep! Fo sho!

Those videos make me want to play MHF again. I left it on my shelf for so long and went on to MHP2ndG, which I enjoyed very much, yet I get the feeling of wanting to play the old game.

What do you say? Should I finish this game or go on with MHP2ndG?

Up to you man, If you're in the mood to slay some in the good old classic Monster Hunter PlayStation 2 style, then go for it.

I'm not really putting to much in 2ndG, I'd rather wait for Unite.

I see your point. I might go back and play the original then, I guess. I'm not really looking forward to Unite, unless it had some extra content we could enjoy out of it.

So for the time being, I'll just enjoy playing my PS3 and the original MHF. :P

Sadly there will no new content in MHFU. And it becomes even sadder when I say content has actually been removed.

It is, but Japanese licensed content will no doubt be removed, such as JUMP and Famitsu weapon/armor/items.

Hey, do you agree that they have taken all the hunting elements out of the new MHF games, like they have to many different types of unrealistic weapons, and the element attributes are some what stupid.

In a way, I don't approve of Long Swords and Gunlance as well as Long Bows.

If they were ever removed, I wouldn't care.

So yeah, I do agree lol I also hate the Decoration/jewel system.
