And who was it, McConnell, that said - that's the way we were doing things back then. To Funny! And Bush's 2 trillion in tax cuts - that we're paying for now. Reagan's trickle down did work. But as usual not till he was out of office. Dems have had control of house and senate for years. Now even Pres. What have they accomplished? NO other Pres has taken a year at the job and still blamed last Pres. 1 year is enough to show what you have and we are seeing it. Obama spent 18 days in 4 states to get the votes to pass his healthcare bill. Why do people vote no for years then after Obama visits your state you vote yes? You aren't that naive are you?

His cold-war spending & tax cuts turned 700 billion in debt into 3 trillion - leaving us borrowing our ass off. This started with him. And the Republicons had the senate the first 6 years of Regan - where it counts. And Clinton nearly wiped out the deficit. The Repubs did this to us.

Only 300 showed up to protest? More evidence that opposition to health insurance reform is crumbling. Perhaps these wingnuts have lost their jobs - and their health care coverage - or have seen relatives or friends lose their coverage since the Great Recession started, and now they're more sympathetic toward reform.

Health Care does need to be reformed, but there is no way the government will make it better.
Meaning the government can only make it worse. Going from bad to worse.

Obama's stuck with trying to reform healthcare without hurting Wall Streets profits. Half-ass reform, is what it is. And it's because both sides are protecting their corp. pals. See the way the Dems killed that drug bill to let cheaper drugs in from Canada? It's not safe they said. Canada's standards are as high as ours. But what they don't tell you is, China, is already making our drugs (that are unchecked) and the drug Co's are making a killing. And the Repubs are protecting those Ins. Co's.
