  • SMART's fleet only have the Gillig Advantages and New Flyer D60LFs.

  • if you want a paper smart bus go to my website justinsschoolbusplace.weebly.com

and its on the thrid page.

  • Normally im not a fan of the Gillig's maybe because i dont know too much about them. i dont have them in new york city or dallas since they dont use them. but nice sounding engine :)

  • I'm not much of a fan of Gillig Low Floor buses though, but my favorites are the Gillig Phantoms! Btw, SMART used to have the 1992's and the 1993's Gillig Phantoms. 1992 30ft GP #9201-9223 and the 40ft ones 9224-9225 6V92TA/HTB-748 ATEC 1993 35ft GP #9370-9393 Series 50/HTB-748 ATEC

All of them were retired since September of 2004 including the 1993 TMC & 1994-95 NovaBus RTSs.

Btw, this bus you see on this video has the Series 40 engine with the Allison B400R WTEC auto transmission.

  • @ny2dal35 let me tell u this bus sound gillig buses sucks the ride to them is so damn unconfortable

  • know, what? not all gillgs have the same engine and transmission, so chill insulting the gillig advantage. And it sounds nice thank you very much!

  • @Chrystal10397: You gotta chill too. I'm not much of a fan of Gillig Advantage buses although they are okay, just not that great. And yes, not all Gillig LF buses has the same engine and/or transmission.
