Warren's definition of maturity is to restrain ones impulses. Well, by that definition Rick Warren isn't very mature. Look at the guy! He is obviously morbidly obese. Apparently, his walk with his Lord and Savior hasn't made him mature enough to delay instant gratification with food. His faith has not caused him to restrain his natural impulses towards gluttony, which by the way, is a sin according to the Bible. I guess that is one verse in the Bible that Warren and his ilk ignore.

Actually Pastor Warren, for much of the history of two of the religions you mentioned (i.e. Judaism and Islam) marriage was defined as a relationship between one man, and POSSIBLY SEVERAL WOMEN! Of course he conveniently leaves that out. Also for thousands of years Judaism, Christianity, and Islam sanctioned slavery, so we cannot really use the so called "holy books" that these religions are based on to govern our lives in the modern world.
