i absolutely see what you mean, and kinda feel the same way. but if you think about it, he spent his life in service of the people of the united states. he was in millions of homes every single week. so while the public is largely a stranger to him, the same cannot completely be said for the other way around. i find it kind of endearing that the wake was open to the public - unless it became more spectacle than tribute.

Who the hell gives 3 shits about Tim Russert? he was just another over paid talking head hack. Journalist my balls, the news has been canceled for at least 20 years.I hope he rots in hell for what he did to Hillary Clinton with that stupid immigration question.
