  • @DeathMechanic91 Thanks buddy

  • @DeathMechanic91 Thank you very much, thanks for watching

  • Lookin real clean man! Thanks for the update. Glad to be back onboard with the videos again :)

  • @rekjavicxxx Hey thanks for dropping by my friend

  • @groutaone Thanks man. Been wrangling with this horrible Trans Am. I'm bout to just give it away to somebody! Ya in need of a free car????

  • @rekjavicxxx Whats the trouble?

  • @groutaone $15K later it still doesn't run.....

  • @rekjavicxxx If it has these four basics it will run, correct cam timing, correct ignition timing, correct fuel timing and compression, also a big vacuume leak would do it

  • @groutaone Oh yeah, for sure man. Got all that covered...went back with pretty much new everything, except some of the ignition system...even replaced the PCM. First fire-up (no radiator, water pump) sounded great! Next fire-up with it all put together, only had fire on about 5 cyls. Then changed the PCM and a couple of sensors (along about the time I ran out of money) and not it doesn't even fire!! Pretty frustrating, but definitely electrical...

  • @rekjavicxxx You will find it I'am sure, too close to stop now

  • Now you can look at it and most anyone can envision the finished product. She's really coming together nicely. Are you some kind of engineer or just really good at doing this stuff?

  • @heliarche Thanks, I just kinda make it up as I go along

  • happy new year man!

  • @ttaannss Thanks bud, happy new year

  • Oh, I forgot; HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  • happy new year,

i was going to suggest plug welds but dont want to tell ya how to do ny thing lol

can i say , maybe put the swivel joint bolt in before welding them, so the heat will not distort the threads, maybe a lil high temp grease to keep them from getting stuck as well?

    just a lil thought,

cant wait lol i understand the set up now, indipendant suspension ,kinda like a corvete or somethin

  • @musiclovr2 Yep thats right, much like a Corvette, just a lil wider heh heh, what seems to work well is to run a tap in the threads after welding to clean them up a little, as you are right they do distort a bit sometimes

  • Great progress! Can't wait for part 9

  • @GotBait Thanks, pt 9 is in the works

  • Uh, it´s all really wide and stuff, but do you think there´s enough distance between the linkeage points on the frame? I think you´ll bend the A arm into oblivion or rip it clean off if it is that narrow. Say if you jump it and land on one of the rear wheels when on the throttle or if you´re in a powerslide and it catches up on sumthin solid. Just a thought..

  • @xnihpseht It is possible that the A arms or any part of the machine could get could get damaged, you havent seen them finished yet though, if something breaks on the machine I hope the camera is running, crash damage always makes good video material heh heh

  • @groutaone I hear you. I would pull out a calculator and some Newtonic laws of motion and force tho. Hope you get sum great breakage (and run time) on cam!

  • Fabricator extraordinaire. Keep the updates coming. It's gonna be a beast.

  • @8087j Thanks bud, more vid in the works

  • Your a bit like Dave without the naked weirdness haha ...not funny ,i had a table just like it and i kept breaking coffee mugs haha...not funny ,so you made the holes for the bungs ,so they where bong holes haha now that was funny ,and you walked right into that one buddy : ) Happy new year tool man!

  • @FrankaDith Thanks for watching my friend, happy new year

  • you are a genius! i cant wait to see what this beast is gonna be like when its done.. happy new year!

  • @enginemaster8 Thanks bud, I'am still working on a plan to get it out of the shop when its done ha ha

  • are you playing all this by ear or did yuo work up a set of plans because it is all well thought out and coming together so nice

  • @TheFred1952 Thanks, I make it up as I go along but I could kinda picture it long before I started, over the years I have found when I'am a bit stumped on a part of project the answer will often show up when I'am half asleep in bed or even in a dream and then its like, AH HA!

  • @groutaone I know the feeling

  • @groutaone Iknow the feeling

  • do those inserts fit loosely or is it a tight bunghole . lmao

sorry buddy , i had a beavis and butt head moment :)

  • @500passwords Ha ha, fits just right

  • coolest Canadian on youtube! snuff said :p what engine are you thinking of putting in it

  • @RicerEater1978 For now it will run the Polaris 700 ATV engine, but an upgrade is likely in the works maybe next winter

  • Is this how you spend new years eve? :)) .... says the one who surfs on youtube :/

  • Grouta, if everything we mass-produced in North America was the quality you build at your shop, there wouldn't be any imports. Happy New Year from Cleveland, Ohio!

  • @snowman44077 The only problem is there would be too many crash deaths from people using my creations for their intended purpose ha ha

  • @groutaone coming along great.. quick question how long till its done??? lol like to see some paddle tires in the mud

  • @vatechbiggdanny Hope to get it done before winters over
