in fact, they want you to do this temple BEFORE the shadow temple,

no, you don't need the hover boots to cross the desert at all (but i guess if u just stand for a long time you'll get sucked by the sand...

yes, there is a way of crossing the desert without the lens...

though you need to memorize the path.

funny thing, i always go in spirit temple before going to the shadow, because in the quest screen the orange medallion comes first, when i 1st played i thought that was the order

I used to run over the quicksand at the beginning with the hover boots, then I would simply run to the next pole without using the longshot. Best/quickest method there is!

In the water temple u get the longshot which is the upgraded hookshot.

There's a glitch that you can do with Naru's Love. Just use the spell and place a bomb right in front of you and...BOOM... you start moving 60 MILES AN HOUR. Found out from Gaming Parodies:zelda randomness.

actually you do not need the hover boots to do it. You can do the entire spirit temple without them since i skipped the entire shadow temple they just require a bit of extra thinking and the longshot

You don't actually have to longshot the poles you can walk to them without anything happening but longshoting(is that even a word?) them is a good way to stop getting lost i suppose.anyway nice vids! =D

shouldve seen the video first... anyway, to find the flags, i use the song of storms. when the thunder flashes, i see the poles with the flags and i just keep doing that until i go to that deserted block house or whatever it is. i just use the song a couple of times and i see the poles, follow them, and look at that im here
