  • that was like perfect dude awsome

  • Top comment- i like armbars

  • i wish i could do that.....

  • EPIC ! :D

  • My coach is name John too!

  • There are no yellow belts in Adult BJJ you idiots. It's a special belt the refs put on him so they know who to apply points for. Idiots.

  • @spitinsk8er this only applies if the gi is the same colour.

  • @spitinsk8er

So Judo guys cant compete in these events? Maybe thats where his yellow belt came from but I dont know if these are BJJ exclusive tourneys.

  • a blue belt vs a yellow belt?

  • not so impresive like hes a yellow belt and hes a blue belt but still prettey kool and he hit his head on the mat

  • Awesome

  • VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!!

  • yeah yellow belt does for under sixteens

  • Wow moncton is like 40 mins drive from where I live. Fucking cool vid too!

  • Fuckity fuck fuck! :D

  • i think everybody used the words i want

  • a black belt vs a yellow belt?

  • @MrSipple1775 yellow belt?

clearly you have no clue what you're talking about.

Yellow belt doesn't exist in BJJ, sorry. :\

  • @battlemeok well i do shingi tai not bjj, shingi tai has an organized belt structure, my mistake

  • @MrSipple1775 Ok, first off i would like to apologize for the disrespect, i thought you where just another person on the internet trying to critique mma fighters and matchups but i guess it turns out you train as well.

The belt system for BJJ is actually pretty simple though it goes white, blue, purple, brown, black ( with black/red and solid red being reserved for the pioneers of the sport and the rare few who excel at it )

Not that you care about any of that just for future reference.

  • @battlemeok yeah i dont like the organization of bjj. i went to a seminar thing for bjj a few months ago and it was too unorganized for me, plus, i dont like how every ufc fighter is a "bjj black belt" but you throw them onto the ground and they just sit there in gaurd. thats why theres no shingi tai black belts in the ufc, because you have to train for at least 7 years to get your shingi tai black belt, and it has an organized belt structure (white yellow orange green blue purple brown black)

  • well in bjj it kind of depends who you got your black belt under, like a black belt from the gracies means way more than a black belt from lets say nogueira Some black belts in the ufc only practice with the GI so when they get in the octagon and the opponent doesn't have the GI they don't really have anywhere to hold on and they're technique is basically useless as GI bjj focuses on holding the opponents GI for grip in many positions but you're right i would like to see more active guards

  • @MrSipple1775 First of all, not every UFC fighter is a black belt in bjj, in fact most of the fighters aren't black belts. Second of all, it takes on average ten years to achieve a black belt in bjj. Third of all, UFC black belts don't just sit in guard and do nothing, and if they do it is because they are being forced to. Clearly you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @MrDuiman Bull shit...it does not take 10 years to earn a black belt in bjj ... maybe so in GRACIE jiu jitsu but not bjj, in bjj you get the belt when you learn all the moves, cas theres not a great belt structure. and yes, they sit in guard becaues they dont know what to do..quit acting like your high and mighty and know all...this is the internet kid, sit down..you dont have to go on a righteous defense for bjj fighters, considering half of them bought their belts

  • @MrSipple1775 First:If you want to insult something spell "cause" and "there's" correctly.

Second: Who wins most UFC matches? Those with a great amount of experience in Brazilian jiu-jistu.

Third: Black belts have to be bought to avoid coaches giving away black belts to people who don't deserve them.

  • @olioliman2000 Black belts have to be BOUGHT? Its simple; if you have to pay to take your black belt test then it doesnt matter if you fail your test all to hell, you are going to get the belt cas you payed the dude 75 bucks for it. Ify you go to a real jiu jitsu or any other martial arts school, and the guy says "you dont pay for the test" then if you fail, then no big deal..you dont get your belt..your "number 3" is probly the stupidest thing you have ever said dude

  • @MrSipple1775 First: So you admit the first two statements were true. Since the second was true you admit that the jiu-jitsu guys are the best.

Second: Only certified black belts can buy black belts. Then they give them to their students. A random brown belt can buy one.

  • @olioliman2000 Your completely missing the point...a true black belt earns his belt, not goes out and buys it. i see so many ppl running around saying their black belts then i see the belt but then they cant kick for shit and they hit like girls with pussies. same goes for jiu jitsu, same concept. the reason you never see a shingi tai jiu jitsu practitioner in the ufc or mma is because it takes too much time and effort, but they are legit. its easy to say "yeah i do bjj" thats why theyre in ufc

  • @MrSipple1775 Lol, your obviously a troll. What girl doesn't have a pus*y? I'm going to respond just so you don't say I couldn't come up with a come back, but then I'm done wasting my time with you.

Its true that if you only practice jiu-jitsu you will not know how to punch or kick, but most fighters will also take kick-boxing,or maui tai to learn to punch and kick. BJJ also takes a great amount of effort and discipline. But I will agree that not all BJJ gyms value discipline.

  • @MrSipple1775 I train bjj and it does take on average about eight to ten years to earn a black belt. Sure there is exceptions such as BJ Penn who earned his in three but he trained non stop. I can guarantee you that anybody under my instructor will not be given a black belt in less than eight years minimum. This isn't a "righteous defense for bjj fighters" dumbass, this is me telling you that you're no expert in the subject so shut the fuck up. You're the one who is acting like you know all.

  • @potatoelover95 If you live in america in like vancouver or victoria then try 10th planet jiu jitsu its alot more fun and not so predictable

  • @scottyiscute or try team link the considered number one jiu jitsu school in the country (america)

  • that guy was retarded he shouldve planted his knee on jons jaw then turned out not throw jon towards the side with 1 arm lol then he shoots his legs up when he son the ground even a yellow belt should know this

  • The coolest version I've ever seen of flying armbar was performed by former national competitor Bob Hoffman, 4th dan and a guy that weighed all of 128 lbs and stood 5'2" but was in the 70-80's considered pound for pound the toughest judoka America ever produced.

Bob actually STEPPED UP climbing on the thigh of his (usually much taller) competitors to get into position - yes, he was that fast.

  • Why did they put a white belt verse a blue belt?

  • @stevefromchicago I thought that was a yellow belt. Though that's still a poor match-up <.<

  • @stevefromchicago Those belts identify the competitors.

  • i only clicked the video because i thought it was the dude in white vs the fat guy but the fat guy was the referee

  • FUCK YES

  • The guy in the blue had some time create some momentum to roll into defense.

    0:28

  • flying arm bars hurt. i'm a white belt so i have a higher pain threshold for them, but they are very effictive. just ask the blue belt who got his shoulder sprained from my flying arm bar.

  • Beautiful! Kudos to your friend for that. Great move!

  • This is great. I finished a guy a few tournaments ago with a gogo, so I know how excited he must have been. Rare subs FTMFW!

  • Nice language to use arounds kids!

  • that was fucking textbook ninja shit... Awsome excution!

  • niiiice!

  • That was amazing... Now I feel like trying it out hahaha

  • Hey that was nice, but is there going to be always a hit to the head when falling, or there is a way to avoid it????

  • @emm589 that's why skulls are made nice and thick. just in case.

  • @emm589 Take the fall more on the shoulder, by turning yourself, and curling your back. It should protect your neck and head.

  • Hey that was nioce, but is there going to be always a hit to the head when falling, or there is a way to avoid it????

  • Pretty sure he knee'd him in the back of the head LMFAO. Nice armbar though want a slowmo of that

  • why is a blue belt going against a yellow belt?

  • @broshamski It goes by weight divisions :)

  • @kkenjisama ya but still a blue belt should not be going against a yellow belt.

whoever is putting on these tournaments obviously isn't following ibjjf rules. i'm not taking anything away for the the arm bar though

  • @broshamski wtf is a yellow belt a kids belt? kids shouldn't be going against adults lol.

  • i was really hopin that guy with the flying armbar would win.

hate when people in juijitsu are aggressive, that just tires you out! idiots

  • @ChagoTV1 the flying arm bar guy did win

  • @TheFrostyVision i know that. never said he didnt win!

  • @ChagoTV1 I guess I just misread what you said

  • why are they starting off with grips??

  • ouch i think he hit other guy's head!

  • FUCK YES!!

  • @Einheri89 it's just the way he said it. take it easy. it's just stereo typical to what a comedian impersonating a white person would sound like. just what popped in my head. not go find another youtube comment to get mad about and have an argument over haha.

  • @punisher00109 No, as the description says, "BJJ" as in Brazilian Jujitsu.

  • If this would be on the street, the white guy had a cracked head!!

  • @Ichmensch That's why you tuck your chin into your chest, so that your head doesn't hit the floor.
