  • how much? and is it good for jumps and all?

  • @mtlpsycho it's a great board for jump but i would not take it in the park. We are getting some Custom X's with little cosmetic defect, they are on sale for $589.99. Typically custom x run about $649.95.

  • @thehouseboardshop alright illl chek out the site thnx

  • is this board good for freestyle and rails?

  • Hey Im looking at riding mostly park...What flex/feel should i look for. Thank!!

  • @dmitriyvakulchik Most people in the park are riding soft flexing boards, but it really depends on you style. For jumps I like stiffer board 6-8. For rails and boxes I like a softer flexing board something around a 3 - 5. So, If you just riding boxes and rails go with a softer flexing board.

  • Im an intermediate rider and im looking for a new setup, this board is last seasons stock so it is the cheapest in the shop at the moment, i was just wondering if i should bother getting such an advanced board? any suggestions?

  • @101ichiban Good Questions, it all depends on what you want to get out of your snowboard. How often do you ride? where do you ride... Park? Back country? Midwest groomers? What snowboard do you ride Now?

All in all it is a great board. Light weight, responsive, pressure distribution edges. you couldn't ask for much more ..... definitely one of the best boards on the market.

  • @thehouseboardshop are they good for jibs

  • @KraveSkateboards You would not see me jibbing around a Custom X, If fact you would not see me at all because i would be go so fast. so if you looking for a good cambered jib board just get the normal custom.

  • the best dec in the world! i will buy a new one when im finished with this one! co2 est bindings im rideing!

  • can nike boots go in burton bindings

  • @Xxsideshow22xX nope, u have to get another boots :D

  • @t0rq21 why they work fine

  • @Xxsideshow22xX are u familiar with thr concept of irony?=)

  • @t0rq21 ive heard of the word but i donno what it means

  • @Xxsideshow22xX Yes they can, I have a pair of Nike Kaiju, they fit nicely in my c60's.

  • @breck83 me to i got some frost white ones but the only thing i dont like is the inner boot digs in your leg

  • i have the 2011 custom x. kinda ticked that they took away the stainless

  • @thehouseeboardshop I just got my Burton Custom X from you guys! Do you think that the Custom X will be okay to use on rails or in the park, or is it essentially just an air/shredding/vert board?

  • @SignorFabion The Custom X Is More Of A All-Around Board, And I've Used It In A Few Parks And It Handled Everything I Thrown At It (Rails,Big Air Etc..)

  • @MoonJakal Thanks I appreciate the help! I'm an intermediate rider and I just wanted to buy my own board and start stuff, but I don't wanna screw it up because as you can imagine, this board isn't exactly "cheap". Thanks though!

  • whats the difference between the custom x and the regular custom

  • I demoed last year’s 2010 model and it was sick, loved it so much I bought this year’s 2011 model. Super responsive, crazy fast, and great pop, the board pretty much turned for me. If you like steep stuff, carving hard, and a lot of air this is the board for you. This board is STIFF and you need to know that before buying it, because if you are not ready for a stiff board or not that strong of a rider this thing will chew you up and spit you out.

  • your reviews are great and i have a question. im thinking about buying a board for the first time. ive been snowboarding for 7 years and sick of just renting each year. im 5'10'' 135lb and i want a board that will pretty much do everything. im more of a ride down trails guy and through the trees but will occasionally go into the park. just wondering if you think this board will be good in a 156 and if not what other boards can you recommend?

  • @HOLYSHOTGUN921 What state do you ride in?

  • @thehouseboardshop NY mostly

  • @thehouseboardshop ny and once in a while vermont

  • @HOLYSHOTGUN921 The 156 might be a little big for you. I would say stay below a 155 and above 150 for sure. For park riding you should buy your board a little shorter and for powder days you will want something a little longer. For conditions in NY some where right in the middle will work best for you.

  • @thehouseboardshop what do you think of the 2005 burton custom x?

  • @48crazyhorse48 2005? Do we have those still? Either way technology in snowboards has come a long way in 5 years. I would look for something a little newer. If it's price you're worried about even the cheap boards have some pretty rad specs to offer.

  • @thehouseboardshop na bro i already bought one last year for a hundred bucks from my brother, he only had two trips on it, i got one so far. Just asking you guys what you think of that model, so far i like it. can you tell me the difference between the two besides the new channel system? thx guys....

  • @48crazyhorse48 I don’t have a list of specs for the 2005 model but there are a few newer things that the old one probably doesn’t have. Frostbite edges, which is the edges extend out slightly under the bindings for more grip. The Lightning Bolts Hi-Voltage that make the board more responsive. Infinite ride that breaks the board in for you. Check the Burton website for a full explanation of everything the X has to offer. There is actually kind of a lot.

  • burton customs and burton dominants are probably some of the best boards u can get the dominants are pretty arrordable but the customs can get to $500+ even on the-house

  • Man you make great reviews, you know your stuff its pretty impressive :p, i just bought this board after snowboarding 2 months, and the custom x is 8cm longer than my first board, i know its gunna kick my ass, but will i get used to it?

  • @xbrand0n1x Its not as aggressive as a lot of other high end boards...you should be fine. How much do you weigh, what state do you ride in and what length did you buy?

  • The Blunt or Hero would be awesome!

  • does anyone no a good frestyle board for a beginner

  • Comment removed

  • Too soft,

  • i would love this board even more than i do if it came in a 152 with a 249mm waist width and a little softer torsional flex

  • i correct myself, i mean a 251mm waist width

  • Call Burton! :)

  • is it good for intermediate riders?

  • You might want to consider the regular Custom.

  • This board does not work well in the park. If you are jumping off of cliffs, pipe, and huge kickers, this board is the board. It sucks for boxes and rails because it is a little stiff. If your a jib guy, get a rocker, not a camber. Thats just my opinion.

  • I thought you said " thats ok, i like gay people". I had to watch that again.

  • he said "cave people" i believe.

  • Naw dude if you want a park board with est look into the Burton flying V, Custom V rocker, or the Joystick. I know people who have custom x's and they hate them, the flex is horrible shit is soo stiff. My friend let me ride his before he sold it(he has last years custom x) and i was fighting every single jib shit was like a rodeo fuck this board. Get a flexy board with some stiff ass bindings and fuck shit up

  • I stand corrected. :{).

  • 500 Laminations, not 400 :P

  • We do...but not Burton.

  • hey dude does the house ship to the uk

  • I would say if you are park riding a lot do the Joystick otherwise Custom X.

  • Oh yeah for sure, I'm just stuck between this and the joystick. Both are amazing and fun in their own rights. Sucks to be so vexed!! Any advice?

  • Buttering and pressing sound like they're pretty much out with this deck then?

  • If you put some weight into it sure...but it is not a jib deck!
