@572ss1972 there probably isn't a tranny - just couple the crankshaft to the sprocket driving the chain. With cylinder head work and some block work, V8s can go to 9000rpm. Sprocket is likely as large as possible since the engine can handle any load so this would yield the highest RPMs of the chain. Put it all together with a custom guide bar to go with the huge sprocket and you're ready to go
