i don't understand why it doesn't have Java and Flash. If it has such little capability for memory, why not be able to connect it to a flashdrive or external flashdrive?

iPad is Apples version of a digital photo frame, with all the good stuff of the iphone. Its 3 times as expensive as a normal digital frame, yet with 25 times the function.
It won't replace laptops, or smart phones, especially since it doesnt have Flash or Java.
But it will let rich people buy it to display their wealth. 90% of the time it will be off or be a digital pic frame, 5% will be for showing it off to guests, and 5% for leisurely use: nothing you cant do with a laptop or smartphone.
I can't wait to get my hands on one of these! My only question is do you know if it is like the iPod touch and requires WiFi or is it like a phone? I doubt it's like a phone but you never know.
