My parents Ed and Joan Friedland are responsible for the restoration of this home and also pioneered the open hearth cooking events at the Lisbon Historical society in the 1960s. I personally worked on the restoration of the John Bishop house where it looks like this was filmed.

Nice video! I found this to be very interesting. I would LOVE to have that huge fireplace in my house. I love that old house too! :)
