hey this is julian paz. i am mike paz's son, and a great friend of jack. i hav always missed him and wished that this had never happened. i had had loved him like an uncle and he took care of me as if i was his son. i really miss him and it is so hard for me to stand that he has died
Well, then, I'm glad we have him on video. I loved him too even though our paths crossed so briefly. Let's keep him alive! When i get back to my studio, I'll post some more of your dear Uncle Jack. I'm glad you dad brought him on this City Of New Orleans Train Tour.
So great to see you play again, Jack. Your driving up to Big Indian scared the shit out of me, but your music soothed the frayed nerves. What a beautiful rendition of this song... Saw Paz recently and he still regales all with tales of your shenanigans. You're sorely missed by all.
Seeing this vid put a lump in my troat. Jack is missed by many. He was my friend and musical mentor when he and Eileen ran EJ's cafe in Albq. and I'll never forget him, his beautiful outlook on life and love, and most especially the music he made. He had a huge influence on me and I'm sure many others.

Why do you stand at his grave? He is not there.
He did not die.

His heart gave out on him. He didn't have his meds. I think he passed in his sleep.
Thank you for your concern and post.
