I have a static ip for xbox360 so i can have an open NAT type .. But alot of the time my internet connection just DROPS and so does my xbox connection .. I used to have a static IP and nothing was wrong idk why my connection keeps shuting down -_- PLEASE help

@nfsfanAndrew that might be an issue with your computers software/hardware. Check to make sure your network card can handle the bandwidth you're using

@amkdeath I tried this but my internet still drops. ISP won't fcking do a thing. They keep blaming the router and the people who I bought the router from keep blaming the ISP. WTH. lol. Any suggestions?

@omgitsryanwtf Did you already try bypassing your router? Like connecting a computer DIRECTLY to the ISP's line, no router. If it still drops then it's not because of your router because your router isn't even connected anymore. Then you can say that to your ISP and see what they say... What ISP do you have?

@btownsmostwanted try doing googleDNS instead of comcast DNS, see if that helps at all... they do have a lot of service outages, bad company for customer service

@Jigar285 well supposedly its faster, but make sure to read the terms on the website, it's google so they always throw a catch in there in terms of privacy
