  • This is a badass vid man! Dragonslayer is one of my all time favorites. And one of the most well-crafted movies of it's genre IMO. Thanks.

  • Out of all the movies I've seen with dragons this 80's movies was the best.

  • Bellísima música.

  • this msuic never gets old. They always use it in movie awards and I love it

  • Very good clip, excelent job

  • i loved this movie i watched it 6 times already and now i haven't watched it ever since but i still know the song which is a memory to my ancestors

  • was this song used in previews for other movies? i know they do that sometimes. like just today i heard the theme song for romeo & juliet (with leo d and claire danes) on the x-files preview. but i know this song-not from this movie but i think from a preview. anyone know...i wanna say angels in the outfield or something...?

  • yes, i remember in a trailer for "seven years in tibet". also others i cant remember.

  • most importantly dragonheart

  • Well, this year they used it in their 80 years of Best Picture winners montage.

  • Whats the song??

  • It says at the end. "To The Stars" from the movie DRAGONHEART.

  • this is so beautiful, its beyond words, have you ever wandered about making a Galen music video?

  • I have toyed with that idea. Maybe once I find a song that fits him.

  • Cool!

As i've said this video is beautiful! You are very talented! :)

  • The dragon was beautiful. Why did they have to kill it? :(

    Anyway, great video! .^-^.

I wish more people would make videos about this movie...

  • Very well done. The visuals dovetailed with the music beautifully, and you avoided the trap of being maudlin.

  • i love this song!

  • Well done on the video. However the irony in the choice of song is that in Dragonheart the dragon's death is mourned, and he is the good guy, here the dragon is a murderous villian. but again great job with the video.

  • i do believe dragons EXISTED but if the paladins or knight slawted them all what if they were to have hidden away a dragon egg from the world they could build many things back then

or if a dragon has swart his death and had hidden away his or her egg from the knights

somewhere out there they might be a dragon flapping around you never no

  • Camilla Parker Bowles is a dragon

  • Camilla Parker Bowles is a dragon

  • Bellísima melodia celetialllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll....etc...

  • The music is soo,soo good. But the video is horrible and shit.

  • I love DRAGONSLAYER, i love DRAGONHEART and I love music by Randy Edelman.

But... As a tribute to DRAGONSLAYER, why didn't you use the original soundtrack music by Alex North ?

  • Because I don't have the ost.

  • Good point...

And i don't think it has been released on CD (nor in old vynil either). But he end titles could be found, among other Sci-Fi/fantastic/Adventure movie soundtracks, in a CINCINNATTI POPS ORCHESTRA performance directed by Erick Kunzel, the Cd is FANTASTIC JOURNEY. It is the only CD recording I know of it.

  • Thank you for the info. I now have a new quest =)

  • after hotmail type dot com

  • i have the theme and other themes form alot movies.anybody intrested can add me at Eugchlim_FU619@hotmail

  • I love this song! Dragonheart always nakes me cry :'(

  • i love movie dragon heart and i think this vid was terible.. music good but why have you made from the beautiful dragon a killer ... ?

  • Only the music is taken from Dragonheart, it's a tribute to the movie Dragonslayer, which did have a darker, murderous dragon. Thank you for your comment.

  • So beautiful...Nádhera

  • is the best work of Randy Edelman

  • where did you get that to the stars music please tell me i just love it

  • is that dude with the curly blonde hair the guy from ghostbusters 2?

  • Yes. He also appeared on Ally McBeal and Numb3rs.

  • yeah thats right

he was in bean too i think

  • i love the way this vid has nothing to do with dragonheart lolo but love the music one of my fav films member watching it at cinema

  • beautiful song

  • i always have a very deep love for animals so when I saw this movie it became like my ultimate personal anthem for animals! the music makes me cry and it made me so sad when the ending of the movie was near coz I was like saying goodbye to Draco.

  • the dragonheart movie made me cry and cry and cry gdness knows how many times. this was the very first movie that touched me so deeply. and the music....LEGENDARY. beyond this world. it is one of the few in the millions of soundtracks that i can really describe as absolutely sublime. stunning. and the genius comes in just that few notes. amazing. absolutely breathtaking.

  • good song, however it was not very appropriate, in dragonheart the dragons were the good guys, and dragonslayers were evil.

  • exactly the point I was about to make ... ofcourse the song To The Stars has been used in many trailers throughout the years

  • True, it is one of the best musical scores ever.

  • i want the dragonheart firts movie and then last part but can vind it because i want too hear the vois is 2

  • finaly a perfect song for a magic show now if only i could get the mp3 hey man could someone email it to me or send through aim/aol/msn please

  • this song plays in aquamusic in port aventura!!!

  • man, I wish dragons werent extinct anymore. lol thanks for identifing this music, Iven been looking for it for a quite some time now. Heard it in a number of movies including Dragonheart (obvioulsy), Angels in the Outfield, and at a David Copperfield magic show.

  • oh. u believe in dragons huh. How cool is that! :)

  • I don't actually believe dragons have existed but sometimes i wonder how so many cultures from separate continents could have so many references to that kind of beast without ever having seen one...?

And for tales of imagination, I do prefer legends...

So : long live the dragons !

  • dragons really existed...for example: a komodo dragon is a lizard but is actually like the only living dragon at present times...

  • Komodo dragons are "just" very big and dangerous lizards called after the legendary beasts.

I meant large firing and flying dragons like the ones many legends are telling about.

  • ok believing in dragons is dumb, and as for lots of cultures referencing them, well i dunno, could there perhaps have been, long ago, huge beasts that had wing looking appendages and whose bones can be found all over the planet? maybe im not sure, but googling dinosaur might help you visualize things!!!!

  • You forget dinosaurs were instincted for millions of years when we, humans, began to walk the earth...

Though, chinese culture is filled with many kind of dragons, as middle-age christian culture (How many knights, among Europe, killed the "last dragon" ?), and don't forget the "Great Feathered Serpent" (Sorry if my translation is not the most accurate) of the ancient south american cultures...

As I already wrote : I don't believe dragons have existed but I wonder...

    And I love Legends !

    ;)

  • i remember seeing in one science magazine article about an actual dragonbones being found, it had some t-rex like bones and flying dino bones mixed, making the illusion of dragon-like creature :) it was fun to read but at the end the bones were said to be from different eras :D

but still.. you never know if there was dragons ;) or if they stil ARE!

  • In a certain way, they still are... As long as we'll picture them in mind and arts.

  • To quote my friends as they chose to quote me. 'To believe in a Legend does not make it real... but to trust your heart and believe in what you chose.. it can be in it's own way.' Just becasue you cannot see them... does not mean that they are not there. It just takes a little time to see through the fog most of us have...

  • You realize that from a Christian point of veiw dinosaurs and man would have existed at the same time right?

  • While the music is from the Dragonheart OST, the movie is Dragonslayer (1981, starring Peter MacNicol.

  • Hello! thank you for uploading, Dragonheart is my fav movie and the soundtrack is my fav too. I would like to ask if all video clips are from Dragonheart? I know the movie but :OOOO in this clip I saw parts that I ahve never seen into the move here :OOOO.

    thanks

    Miri

  • Yes, the best music in the world, i agree, makes me cry. Great editing :o)

  • Watched the video for the music. Best music in the world. Now I wanna know what the film is. Never seen it before. Looks good.

  • Thanks, glad you liked the vid. It remains one of my favorite films.

  • terrific. The dragon in this film is as good as any CGI I have ever seen. What a shame they don't use models any more.
