At least we're seeing that they are loud, but not violent. I have a video on my channel of another loud group of protesters protesting the Keystone Oil Pipeline project in front of Bank of America. They're really loud!
My reaction is "Disgusting." I am staying away from Asheville until this nasty bunch of DFH's quit assembling. Asheville is already pretty dangerous for visitors wandering around downtown - people get mugged all the time. I go downtown to shop at a lot of the hippie shops and so HAVE supported these people in many ways - taxes and buying their artwork and stuff. I'm sick of the taxes I pay going to clean up behind a bunch of lazy, drug-addled slobs.
I hope people find some focus soon. The media coverage is making everyone look foolish. Protesting "corporate greed" is so vague it's silly. We NEED a seperation between corporations ,special intersts groups ,and our government.We need to get control of,or end the federal reserve.We need a smaller federal government. We need to quit spending 30 million PER HOUR in the middle east.
@DubheadKazu My parents were activists & had me going to protests & demos before i could even walk. That is what has shaped me & made me the person I am today......one who actually gives a damn about what's going on in the World. We can't possibly prepare our kids for the World by only reading them warm & fuzzy fairy tales & letting them watch cartoons. Grow up....or better yet...WAKE UP!
PROTEST OK, but do it in a way that doesn't infringe upon the rights of other tax payers and doesn't threaten the Peace Officers and their duties and I will be all for it. Until then you can kiss my fecken hairy ass. Don't be idiots like in NYC.
