No story writing in any modern game can ever match this. Ever. By the time I'd finished the game for the first time i could have actually mistaken myself for the nameless one it was that enthralling and immersive.

I still remember the moment I took before entering the Fortress from the beginning Mortuary room. Smart. Deep. In most other RPGs you act out a character. This is the one that had me actually soul-searching along with The Nameless One. Fantastic.

This is sad to die in the gloomy shadow forgotten by everyone you knew, were there is no possibility of reicarnation; maybe there is he recalled, Ravel said if at the very end, merged with my mortality I could win the blood war, climb the main mountain, at the top, Fall-from-grace could cast-open a gate for me by her faith...
