  • this would be great technology for navigate in TOKYO city

  • this reminds me of George Orwell's 1984, soon TV's would be able to peer into our rooms. then again kinect could do that already

  • I burned my potatoe down T_T

  • Why the fuck is lady gagas bad romance on 4th place of suggested videos? I don't get it!!!

  • ehbin mega aufgewirbelt und ungezogen heute wer mag mit mir schreibn und so

  • Viewpoint-independent 3D display is far more important than fiddling around with silly scifi ways to control your TV. I hope this tech is put to the use it should be. =/

  • @Gustav0M Too late. Some companies have already started using the same kind of technology as medical EEGs to bind commands to thought processes, and thus control things with thoughts.

  • This would be great technology for GPS in cars.

  • looking for some fun if you know what i mean just msg meh

  • ALLMOST MINORITY REPORT!

  • Still, I miss the VR goggles with touch sensitive gloves... Whatever happened to those? It seems al lot more sensible than a glossy screen, for personal use that is...

  • Cool tech, but a truly horrible choice of music. Gah!

  • but for project natal you have to be far away

for this you can be close or far away...

  • neat, but all this cool tech stuff is all prototypes. I see so much cool tech and its gonna be like.... so many years until its applied to something consumer based and mass produced. Blah.... O well. (I suppose there are things like this like Wii, PS3, but still... I donno, hopefully u know what I'm getting at)

  • @kickit246 Actually a simplified version of the screen has already been applied by Range Rover. Their luxury line has a screen that is one image from the passenger's seat and a different one from the driver's.

Usually when technology gets heard of once when it's a prototype and never again, it's due to cost, inefficiency, or critical flaws (see: flying cars). This isn't the case with this.

  • Microsoft Natal already did it...

  • yep, but cameras are in front of screen, in here we got two cameras behind display

  • @eddie6199 that would be fucking AWESOME mixed with epic

  • Dear MIT,

    I LOVE YOU.

    Signed,

    Me

  • Thats an SID.. (Still in development)

  • This is crazy

  • man look at that guys sleave !! dryed buggers on his sleave

  • Future going UP

  • You guys are awesome! ROCK ON!!!!

  • so laggy

  • I admit, that this is interesting, but nothing more, let alone the future! Simple reasons: Our eyes look forward, so the screen is better in front of us vertically. If so, the than the touchscreen concept is a pain in the ass, because nobody likes to lift an arm for an extended period of time to move around objects.

  • valid points but that's very narrow-minded thinking.

  • the voice sounds bored :(

    awsome screen tho :D

  • Yaaaaay screen flicker!

  • The force is with you.

  • The should let Steve Jobs tour their operation. Heh heh heh.

  • Very Cool!!!! It Would Bring Gaming To The Next Level

  • Very cool stuff.

Though the guys voice and the music are very generic considering how epic this device is.

  • doesnt work in dark ...

  • I think a heat sensing camera or a more light sensitive camera would make it work perfectly well in the dark.

  • yeah , but do you want to paid 300$more?

the screen itseft in the future should cost like 500-700$ for a 15inch screen ...

  • good to know that Millionaires In Training is still putting out some of the best minds in the country. this is the future

  • brilliant

  • Why is it so laggy?

    Lol.

  • because its from the future

  • really interesting!

  • ik krijg al een lamme arm als ik er naar kijk. Wel cool btw

  • using an outside torch to light something inside the machine! it is to unbelieve! Well done, Mits!
