the united states marines are heroes here in the asia especially in philippines, whenever they were here for visit and bilateral exercise they usually do medical and dental mission, food feeding program, and school construction, the marines help us a lot, they did good in serving the poor here in third world asia, they are no just expert in war but also in humanitarian services, go go go US marines, keep up the good work, that why asia people are proud of you all

i cannot wait for this day, its going to be the greatest challenge i have ever or am yet to attempt. i will make my family proud, i know it. i ship out for boot camp january 5th 09. my time is limited, so i am making the best of it. spending every day with my friends and family, counting down the days one by one

God Bless Tim! My only son Robert decided to join the USMC at the age of 27. He graduated from boot camp at Parris Island on June 6th, 2008. I miss him so much! He is at Camp Lejuene for 25 days then to Missouri for his Motor T. School. He was told he would be going overseas and that is breaking my heart but he asked me to "please support me mom" How can I do any thing but stand behind him 100%. He graduated Platoon 2033 with SSGT Jones, SGT Hunt, SSGT Itorrino and SGT Durazo.
We don't know why they do this? But why wish them a "short stay" when they are doing something they are being spiritually called for? (((Hugs from one Marine Mom to another!)

Congratulations, even those it is a little late.
Graduating boot camp was the biggest deal in my life - far above high school grad and all that childish stuff.
While you are doing something important all of your friends are back on the block doing next to nothing.
