When working with three in a mob, a nice trick is to use growl on one, ff another, then slam the third with mangle before swiping. Helps build a bit more aggro on all three, for the idiots who don't use assist target or heed raid symbols. Single-target I growl, ff, and mangle then proceed to build lacerate to 5. After that I ff again (it adds additional threat), then mangle followed by two lacerates (might trade one for swipe). By then ff is ready again, and so is mangle. That's my rotation.

Tbh use fearie fire over lacerate and when you got 5 stacks of lacerate and it's not about to run out, swipe, even on single target, as lacerate does like 300 crits initial dmg where swipes does around 1.5k

rotation on single target if you have improved mangle should be like that

Mangle

fariefire (if its up)

lacerate

lacerate (if you have more then 50% of rage put maul in que wherever you have exceed amount of rage)

Ps. if you stack up lacerate 5 times im doing swipe instead and only refreshing lacerate.

Hey there, i completely agree with all your strategies, but with multimobs, do you not use lacerate at all? For instance if there were 5 mobs, is there no point using it?

Also im having trouble with keybinds, im level 80 not and so i should really have gotten the hang of it.. would you recommend just going cold turkey and setting them all the keybinds straight away?

The only problem I have with being a druid tank is DPS (hunters specifically) wont help me hold aggro by giving me an attack lead. They need to wait a beat after we start blasting, or they're gonna get mob'd. That happens about one fourth of the time, then they blame the tank, but they dont listen to the tank, so the tank bails.

@Eidelmania Once your in full triumph gear youll have very adequate threat in 2 seconds top on aoe, druid tanking is ez mode imo

@Eidelmania It's always hunters, but it doesn't happen in heroics its always those lower level instances. They dps before you get aggo, they pull, they keep taunt on their pets, they don't watch their pets so they chase the add and pull more. Huntards are a tanks worst enemy.

one thing to add here for multi targets,swipe has a 360 degree aoe range so no more walking backwards and swiping to keep aggro,just run wherever and spam swipe,once ya have aggro,the mobs will follow(really helps in ony 10/25 gettin welps) nice vid

I'm a feral 41 druid, and I have never heard of 'lacerate'. Does it come later ? I have to say playing a feral is much more fun then the boomkin, I've changed my tree about 6 times (omfg), and the 'boomie' is just a big target, cat's run around without a whole lot of attention. A

eerm not the good rotation always start with feral fire then mangle up demo and lacerate mangle cooldown is gone by then use it again.

You really dont need to demo on single target things, just uses a gcd since they will be dead fast. Then if you leave maul out of your rotation you loose dps and it doesn't even have a gcd on it. And of course ff should always be on, even more as a bear. If you have no rage ff does damage for free.
