Even tough you say it in your title, this does not represent the movie at all... as in, its a dark COMEDY, not a DARK movie. And even then, its not a dark anything, as the character comes through at the end. Its just brilliant, and Bill Murray.

I watched it two weeks ago on Bravo (surprised they even showed movies) late at night and loved it. It's a wonderful comedy that doesn't seem to fit in to the dark comedy genre, but at the same time, not with the light comedies as well.

Well said. Like many of the best films, 'Groundhog Day' fulfills yet transcends the surface-level expectations of 'genre', which makes it hard to define. Like how, for example, it doesn't really do justice to Kubrick's '2001' to say it's "a great science fiction movie."

Just watched again months after first viewing. Almost perfect. Just wish that in the scene with Phil in the shower, you included the hobbit-like jump at the end. Not that it adds anything to the overall feel of the trailer, but because I simply want to see it again.
