@TheCastmaximus I could be wrong, but I don't think that was his question. He was asking which of the two are most spoken in the state, not whether they are the official state languages. But some more info: firstly, we have no official ("first") de facto language. Secondly, English and French are the de jure official languages in the state.

@alexowright Depends on the parish. In some we speak both interchangeably. In others, only one is spoken.
