This is the same VL series in its old episodes (10 years ago).

And only the character of Oliver came back in 2008.

When the character was introduced, Olli had a girlfriend and later tells Tom that he's into women and men. So yes, he's bi, although I don't think that specific label is ever mentioned on the show (Oliver seems to think lables are stupid). Jo Weil said in an recent interview that he considers his character bisexual and could see Olli with a girl again if his relationship with Christian wouldn't work out.

Yes, later. Judith refers to Olli as bi when he is with Christian. It's funny that they only refer to Christian, who used to be with Coco, as gay.

Seeing as I'm identifying as bisexual myself, I was shocked, SHOCKED, I tell you, that a soap opera character that claimed to be into men and women was actually shown fucking a man and a woman right on air. SHOCKED! But in a very good way. :P
