Loved this movie, especially loved the ending you showed here. He gets the woman he is in love with, she gives in to her fear of him putting her on a pedestal that might lead to a fall that will disappoint him, the abused neighbor leaves her a__hole abuser boyfriend/husband, the sun is shining and Claire de Lune is on the radio. Doesn't get any better than that for this hopeless romantic.
Love is hard to find and even harder to hold on to. Here are two people brave enough to give each other, and, most importantly, THEMSELVES, a chance. Good for them -and anyone who gets back into the game, fears and boundaries left aside.
I like how ,no matter how much shes been hurt,he never gives up on her.Love like this is hard to find but its just a movie but a wonderful movie to watch
Good movie to watch at midnight, seen it about 5 times and never get sick of it,one if those movies you can watch over and over again.Like scent of a woman, alpacino is a brillant actor.
Who else thought at 4:05 Al Look just like he did in Scarface when he had that brush in his mouth the way Tony would chomp away at a cigar and smile. For a moment Tony and Elvira where back together.
I liked the ending sense with debussy 's melody and everything was so peaceful and fragile. "NO MATTER WHAT"...I hope I can be a one to love someone no matter what ...Peope are too hesitate to love....Be brave and trust that you're in love...live for the moment.
Was just drudging my way through the eclipse series and then heard this song in the last movie of the trilogy. Did a search and found this straight away. So beautiful. So what is this song called?
He was an abusive guy that Michelle Pfeifffer's character, Frankie had seen abusing his girlfriend earlier through his window across the way. So she was happy to see that the girl had removed her stuff from his closet and left him...
I remember seeing this when it first came out, it absolutely floored me. The whole movie is full of great little moments, the little sketches of the customers and staff in the diner, the way he drives her crazy by constantily saying "Parton my French" ever few minutes and then she ends up using it, the kiss at the flower market was magic, and this was where i first heard Clair de Lune absolutely brilliant film
@sebastianflash64 That is a shame She can change Light the candles open the wine and watch it in bed - talk about the great times you've had She 'll come around and enjoy this movie with you! Hard asses can be softened up! Might even get to like this music --- Claire De Lune by Debussy Good luck!
ha ha ha thanks for the advice sounds good .granite takes more than a bottle of wine and a few candles to soften up.ile have to work on it , ive just bought a stick of tnt by mistake when i should have got a candle , never mind.
Definitely Gary Marshall's best film, and one of Michelle Pfeiffer's loveliest performances. I liked the end recording so much, I bought the soundtrack just so I could have that version of the Debussy track.
It is truly so peaceful I always said when my time comes they can play Clair de Lune as they lower me... Morbid yes- but there are worse requests in life. But yes, I prefer to enjoy it above ground
Al Pacino svizzeroitalianoamericano, non c'è video migliore che possa esprimere che tutto quello che vorrei è passare il resto della mia vita con lui...ti amo ancora e vorrei averti con me...
@aghazal9999 I found the right partner many years ago & still together. I didn't miss the chance but I fell in love twice in my life. Both times it was forever, "no matter what". I'd say that the song is melancholy, but that's just me.
