Loved this movie, especially loved the ending you showed here.  He gets the woman he is in love with, she gives in to her fear of him putting her on a pedestal that might lead to a fall that will disappoint him, the abused neighbor leaves her a__hole abuser boyfriend/husband, the sun is shining and Claire de Lune is on the radio. Doesn't get any better than that for this hopeless romantic.

I remember seeing this when it first came out, it absolutely floored me. The whole movie is full of great little moments, the little sketches of the customers and staff in the diner, the way he drives her crazy by constantily saying "Parton my French" ever few minutes and then she ends up using it, the kiss at the flower market was magic, and this was where i first heard Clair de Lune absolutely brilliant film
