I think if you changeed the key+ the notes of which the volcolists, sing in and jsut have the melody line, it's around he same. just the beat and timming and how the melody is sang that changes.

Well, I would say that it's only a pure coincidence. Those songs somehow sound similar but they're not exactly the same. I believe something like this occurs accidentally quite often in music industry. Just an example, my brother and I happened to make two different songs in which some parts of the songs sound similar. But, we made them separately. So, it's not a plagiarism ^^..

the chorus have same progression, though i just don't think that no basis for plagiarizing, music progression can only be worked so many ways in one key before a hit song will have similar progression.  the progression works, and is why the artist used it. i believe this one is honestly not plagiarized.
