I actually disagree with Aubrey; You *can* extend your life currently by quite a few years. For one, by stopping smoking (and never starting to smoke or second hand smoke). And there are many ways that are proven to prolong your life.

Keep yourself hungry. On the threshold of starvation. 2. Keep yourself cold. This can be a losing battle if with your physical constitution it means you get sick more. 3. No sexual stimulation.
Of course, the trouble is, most people wouldn't want to live this way. But animal studies show it works VERY well.

The ones prone to short life spans died off and unnatural selection increased their life spans by several fold. Then they did it with mice. There is no reason that we should have to die - it's totally just baggage. We die because we reproduce at around 18. Cancer genes and Alzheimer genes and Stroke genes get along just fine on that timeline.

This guy's #1 proves he's never heard of calorie restriction. If you're really serious about slowing down your aging process, you CAN slow it down a GREAT DEAL by doing 3 things. 1. Keep yourself hungry. On the threshold of starvation. 2. Keep yourself cold. This can be a losing battle if with your physical constitution it means you get sick more. 3. No sexual stimulation.
Of course, the trouble is, most people wouldn't want to live this way. But animal studies show it works VERY well.
