  • I'm Hopi and tewa from polacca az:) first Mesa. Village : Hano

  • @TewaGirl09 Nice to meet you. I visit the Mesa's once a year in early June and try to see dances.

  • All Indians from North and South America have always been on these lands! They NEVER came from anywhere, they were ALWAYS here. I cannot tell you where my information comes from. There has ALWAYS been people on every continent. Yes people migrated, but not as drastic as historians like to make us think. The Earth is much older than 6 billion yrs. There are still many things that are hidden from humanity & carbon dating is wrong. Until scientists, etc. figure out things rightly, we live in dark.

  • Why do people wana know were the Native Americans come from? Just leave them alone. Let them continue their tradition and stop trying to change their religion. I don't see them coming to my door and telling me to follow their god. Their Indigenous and I respect them. . .

  • hahaha cool i saw this right after paul ferrara left my house

  • I've never been taught of an exact origin point. Only that we came from third world and went on migrations until we found Hopi.

  • great video and fantastic music!

  • I'm full blooded Hopi. We didn't come from asia or anywhere else. Wherever you heard that it's false information.

  • @NativeEagleHeart Can you tell us where your people came from? Everybody comes from somewhere.

  • @actoroutonloan we came from south amarica, we island hoped, and then e came from colorado

  • @NativeEagleHeart ur right, ha ha

  • peace

  • Were do the HOPI natives origionally from? im doing a project so i kinda need some iformation thank you

  • @ThanksForTheSnickers

Read "The Book of the Hopi" by Frank Waters

  • @ThanksForTheSnickers

all of the native people are mix so it iz hard to day whear they r from

  • @ThanksForTheSnickers they originally came from asia, crossed the bering straight, travelled through the americas and settled

  • @wafflegal101 Indigenous peoples come from here, RIGHT HERE on Turtle Island, that is the meaning of the word Indigenous. Not from Asia. That is just another in a long line of bullshit excuses for taking our lands from us. I was born in Pennsylvania, not on a res, but in a city, and so what? Who cares? I am STILL Indigenous!

  • Who is Paul & Georgia? :) Great video though.

  • this is an awsome video. im half hopi and that side lives in kykotsovi ,plus i love the doors

  • Coochwikvia's and you?

  • North Hollywood Ca. Where is the Coochwikvia ?

  • It's a name. My extended family is large and this name is one of many in my family. tygaman never got back to me so I don't know he's heard of us.

  • I love the music and the scenes of home. I'm from the village Mishongnovi. Thanks

  • Where do you live now?

  • I live in the England. When I get a bit homesick, I check out to see if anyone from Home has put out any new videos. I really do miss the mountains...where I live now, it's pretty flat and really green.

  • What are you doing in England? I study Buddha also, as your name hints at. How old are you? What is your life like?

  • My husband works in England, and this gave us a chance to live abroad. My Hopi uncles always told me that "home will always be here, so go and explore what's out there." And that's exactly what I'm doing. My 2 year old is starting to get a bit of an english accent and by the time we leave here she will be speaking like a Brit. Right, my occupation is our child and she starts the British schools Jan. We live in the country so we are a way from the hustle and bustle, but we like it.

  • Stay in Touch.

  • I'am from mishongnovi too, what family are you from?

  • @tygaman3000 QUIT YER BULLSHEEIT PLEASE

  • wow -- this was filmed in 1970? One year after Easy Rider.

  • I think you have the wrong video here. I just filmed Hopi this year. The song "Hopi" however comes from the late sixties and was recorded in about 1971 with the three remaining members of the Doors.

  • haha thats my friend pushing in the end... i didnt see my village tho

  • Where is your village. I hope I was respectful enough. Thanks
