Hello, Did you hook the lexicon up by Running from the head to the right mono output then plugging into the right mono input then plugging into your pedals and finally to your guitar? Thanks Man sounds great..
@stretch90 Tell me about your head. What pedals are you using, how have you found the volume levels? Does it break up early enough to get nice grit before you blow your head off with the volume? Its going to be cool trying it as a stack, also trying it into the "big" lower cabinet. What guitar are you using. I have a joe satriani JS1200 at present, so i can go single coils as well as humbuckers in the same guitar, im guessing it wont be the same. Get a relic strat i think? lets chat!
I'm just using an american strat right now but I'm looking to get vintage reissue soon. And my amp is sitting in my house so I can't mess with the volume the way I want yet but I notice a some okay break up around 2-3 with the channels jumped.
The pedal the I use the most with it is the keeley java boost, the boost from that pedals make such an amazing tone. Which pedals do you use?
@stretch90 Ill use my pedal board. Vintage 1970 thomas organ wah, TS808HW, handwired version, nice, an empress vintage modified delay, keeley compressor if i will ever use that, and i have an ethos overdrive, which will be interesting. But i need to get a fuzz pedal again. But i have one of the best vibe pedal which will sound staggering through it. A KR Musical mega vibe. Univibe. :-)
@garciaman55 Yeah sounds good. Hey Check out my Hendrix Limited edition stack tone demos. And also, i build a sort after overdrive for plexis. THE JD SCREAMER. Check it out. Love a comment, and get yourself one. rock on!
@gralthrop Just because you don't like his style, that doesn't make him any less of a player. Everyone on here has their own unique style, and this guy is clearly well-versed in his playing. Maybe the timing and phrasing aren't perfect, fine, but he's a good player nonetheless--and maybe that's his choice, not a lack of skill.
I agree with gralthrop. I find that something just doesn't sound quite right about this weird guy's playing. Nice gear though! I suspect his Jimmy Page LP would be about as good as my Custom Shop '59 Les Paul 50th Anniversary model. I just can't go with the artist model guitar thing...The Clapton Beano Burst is obscene in pricing...$15000 extra just for clapton's signature. Maybe better recording may improve the sound but he'd never dime the amp at home, blow his 25W speakers with 100+ Watts!
Stilted and ale-fingered-his playing is ...probably drunk too(him)....no way is this guy a top player...just an old spinner who's done too many drugs and is now showing off his very expensive gear and very average guitar skills. In all reallity he could never fully crank the amp without killing himself...well his hearing anyway. He must be so stoned and/or pissed to wear sunglasses inside. This guy needs an epiphone LP & a Marshall Valvestate..it'd sound no worse!

This guy's playing while OK for an advanced beginner is certainly not at a professional standard like so many of you think. His phrasing and feel just don't quite soud right. the 58 vos is the same thing as this, but this has coil split pickups, and the tuners custom by jimmy, and the finish and certificate, i prefer the 58 VOS for the price, im a huge jimmy fan, but the 58 is the real thing
