  • one way out! Killer tone man

  • Hello, Did you hook the lexicon up by Running from the head to the right mono output then plugging into the right mono input then plugging into your pedals and finally to your guitar? Thanks Man sounds great..

  • you really rock ;) i think i can hear your fellings through the guitar :D

  • Nice playing! Great shirt to! Haha

  • how comes the bridge pick up has a cover on it??

  • @fretboarder I put a nickel cover over it!!!!

  • I don't love the way you play you don't love me. Dickey and Duane would not agree.

  • @manhattan72 I think they would be fine with it.

  • @manhattan72 Duane is dead and Dickey teach me this riff in the NYBBKing Café backstage in 2007....He was a nice guy....

  • Love your sound....!!!

  • Man, that pedal drives the amp just right! Actually sounds very Cream-y I think you could just about nail the Fresh Cream sound.

  • @bluestingray67 Yeah you're rigth. I love this specific tone!

  • playing it like it owes ya money!!!!! love this tone man!

  • play the blues~!

  • absolutely amazing tone

  • yeah thats great! greatings from the north of germany.....

  • @MrSchecterHellraiser Greetings from Brazil my friend!!! Rock forever!!!

  • okay so i have this old jimmy page interview from like gear of the gods or something. but it has his amp settings from the 1970s as this.

    Presence: 10

    bass: 9

    mids: 3

    treble 5

    Volume 1: 6

    Volume 2: 6

  • you look like jon lord...

  • awesome gear and good playing, yeah

  • Just got myself a brand new Marshall Super100JH Limited Edition stack. So hard to find now, cant wait to play it when it arrives. Tone Machines!

  • @nznaturopath '

I got that head recently too, but I got the cab that comes with the set this guy is using and it sounds so amazing!

  • @stretch90 Tell me about your head. What pedals are you using, how have you found the volume levels? Does it break up early enough to get nice grit before you blow your head off with the volume? Its going to be cool trying it as a stack, also trying it into the "big" lower cabinet. What guitar are you using. I have a joe satriani JS1200 at present, so i can go single coils as well as humbuckers in the same guitar, im guessing it wont be the same. Get a relic strat i think? lets chat!

  • @nznaturopath

I'm just using an american strat right now but I'm looking to get vintage reissue soon. And my amp is sitting in my house so I can't mess with the volume the way I want yet but I notice a some okay break up around 2-3 with the channels jumped.

The pedal the I use the most with it is the keeley java boost, the boost from that pedals make such an amazing tone. Which pedals do you use?

  • @stretch90 Ill use my pedal board. Vintage 1970 thomas organ wah, TS808HW, handwired version, nice, an empress vintage modified delay, keeley compressor if i will ever use that, and i have an ethos overdrive, which will be interesting. But i need to get a fuzz pedal again. But i have one of the best vibe pedal which will sound staggering through it. A KR Musical mega vibe. Univibe. :-)

  • @nznaturopath Cool...I'll reseach this KR Musical mega vibe.Thankz!

  • @garciaman55 Yeah sounds good. Hey Check out my Hendrix Limited edition stack tone demos. And also, i build a sort after overdrive for plexis. THE JD SCREAMER. Check it out. Love a comment, and get yourself one. rock on!

  • This guy looks a bit like john walsh

  • @61SGman are you sure you're not thinking of Joe Walsh?

  • TONE

  • God Tone. Killer Amp. Enjoy.

  • Great playing, sounds sweet...is a real Gibson Les Paul one that costs 4 times the price of better made in Japan Les Paul's? :)

  • This Amp is real smooth sounding :)

  • @gralthrop Just because you don't like his style, that doesn't make him any less of a player. Everyone on here has their own unique style, and this guy is clearly well-versed in his playing. Maybe the timing and phrasing aren't perfect, fine, but he's a good player nonetheless--and maybe that's his choice, not a lack of skill.

  • I know you earn your doe man, but you are one fortunate bastard. rock on.

  • GEORGE HARRISON IS ALIVE!!!!!

  • Me thinks thats a Lexicon delay on top of the amp. Not a Lexington....lol.

  • You don't love me! great song and great sound!

  • george harrison its not dead

he are playing with a jimmy page gibson on marshall jtm 45/100

  • This is me in 50 years :D Great video Sir

  • I agree with gralthrop. I find that something just doesn't sound quite right about this weird guy's playing. Nice gear though! I suspect his Jimmy Page LP would be about as good as my Custom Shop '59 Les Paul 50th Anniversary model. I just can't go with the artist model guitar thing...The Clapton Beano Burst is obscene in pricing...$15000 extra just for clapton's signature. Maybe better recording may improve the sound but he'd never dime the amp at home, blow his 25W speakers with 100+ Watts!

  • @Growlfax

Hi! Really your 59 CSLespaul may've a great sound! I agree, but the JP#1 have a neck profile incredible!

The pickup are Sduncan Antiquity that I change...but this amp works w/50 watts for each outpup conection,

and you are listen 40 watts RMS in my home!!!Believe ! Peace and Page...

  • Stilted and ale-fingered-his playing is ...probably drunk too(him)....no way is this guy a top player...just an old spinner who's done too many drugs and is now showing off his very expensive gear and very average guitar skills. In all reallity he could never fully crank the amp without killing himself...well his hearing anyway. He must be so stoned and/or pissed to wear sunglasses inside. This guy needs an epiphone LP & a Marshall Valvestate..it'd sound no worse!

  • @gralthrop You sir... are an idiot

  • @gralthrop

Really believe that you're a poor envious...go and drink a little, is better!

  • @gralthrop great analysis. I'm sure everyone is very glad you posted your opinion on this video. Without it we might all be lost. So thank you.

  • Stilted and ale-fingered-his playing is ...probably slightly drunk too(him)....no way is this guy a top player...just an old spinner who's done too many drugs and is now showing off his very expensive gear and very average guitar skills. In all reallity he could never fully crank the amp without killing himself...well his hearing anyway. He must be so stoned and/or pissed to wear sunglasses inside

  • Which are the amp settings that you use in this video? (Great video by the way)

  • Great Les Paul and great sound! that sounds like "you don't love me", great playing!

  • I wonder if Ritchie Blackmore knows that Jon Lord plays the guitar

  • Certainly does sound like a dream. A very wet one indeed.

  • i guess only old men can afford these guitars and amps

  • @ToothyGus

    Yes!To your mother maybe.....

  • @6693 No, it's you!

  • Are the speakers 25 watt greenbacks?

  • @Prestostark No, it doen't have Greenies, are Alnico"s Celestions...

  • how loud can this amp get and does it give a good hendrix tone

  • there aint but one way out babe & lord i just can't go out that door

  • wow i love that zeppelin-ish sound, amazingly well played sir

  • nice wig!

  • its a fantastic amp

  • Only 250 made? I Bet Joe Berry Has 30,and Angus Young 20!

  • i saww Jeff Beck yesterday and he had two of these jtms 45/100!!! Good taste Mr.Beck !!!

  • George Harrison playing the Allman Brothers on Jimmy Page's guitar, and oh look, there's Jesus! He's riding a seven-headed horse with Mohammed!

  • That was nice, I normally don't like watching random people play but you play like a master

  • This is amazing! Bravo! Bravo!

  • :-)

  • this is the best jp sig les paul video on youtube..

  • There's only 250 of the JTM 45/100 reissues in total?

  • Sounds great.I like that old Marshall logo.Looks nice!

  • like this alot

  • How much money did you spen on this rig

  • yep, THE TONE is there :)

  • Is that John Mayall...? :P

  • George Harrison is ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is a really amp

  • nice clean sound

  • nice job...i loved your playing and tone!

  • HI JOHN MAYALL

  • Sweetness!

  • I heard that the classic jtm45 is the most expensive amp on the market now. 20,000$

  • dobry jesteś dziadek

  • @georgelosgrafiti bieng a millionare u.u

  • @georgelosgrafiti a job...

  • so sweet

    top to bottom

  • kickass playing , kickass gear

  • Is thanks to the dreaming men like you that rock'n'roll still survives :) keep on playin' fellow

  • sweet setup, and nice playing!

  • you look like georg harrison in his older age

  • Nice man. You should always treat yourself to nice things, IMHO.

  • this is a John Mayall tune (you don't love me)

  • I'd give my soul for that rig. Bet it sounds so much sweeter in person.

  • Ive got one. You can literally have it if you give me your soul. Let me know.

  • Comment removed

  • @palmettoryan bet it sounds so much louder in person

  • @palmettoryan i actually got the chance to play it cause they had it in the platinum room at my local guitar center.... it was just frickin amazing.... i wish i had the money to buy it :(

  • Oh mY God!!

Les Paul & Marshall JTM 45! Sounds really nice!!!

  • you play a lot!

    aham claudia, senta lá.

  • Sweet guitar and tone!!!

Love the playing...and never stop dreaming....

    I know I don't.

  • you look like jimmy page

  • 1:21 u want that tone!!! <3 <3

  • You're a funny dreamer but the sound is great. What OD are you using, please ?

Ah yes, the reverb is a Lexicon not a Lexington.

  • at first I thought it was John Mayall, but George was rocking a similar look, too yeah?

  • i love that amp!!!!!!!!!!

  • You're just jealous :-)

  • awesome tone. sounds like something from led zeppelin IV!!

  • You look like George Harrison with gray hair.

  • Great OD sound.

  • man that sounds very good indeed...

  • The Amp is cool!! Nice tone!!

  • wow!John Mayall plays in his livingroom:-)

    but nice guitar

  • Hey Garcia Man - Sounding great - Is that a Lexicon Reverb? Do you have it plugged up in line - guitar > reverb > amp?

  • Hi John Mayall !!

  • Comment removed

  • i wish i had the money for a marshall/gibson combo.

  • "well I'm gonna tell my sweet mother. I'm Gonna talk to my father too"

Allman brothers all the way!! Good demonstration sir

  • you must be loaded... Awsome Amp!

  • beautiful tone!!

    very "pagey"!!!!

always wanted a plexi (can't afford it)

what kinda pickups do you have in ur guitar

    the sound is amazing

im sure its got somethin to do wit the amp too :)

  • check out the ceriatone series ... they have marshall plexi cones

  • granger M50 is aweseom

  • great sound!!

  • awesome sound

    sounds pretty loud...:-P

  • all plexis have that tell tale drive sound can't really explain

  • Nice clip man. Pedal adds some nice boost/gain. Good playing too. I'm hoping to build a JTM45 kit at some point in the future. I know it won't be quite as good as yours, but I think it'll suffice for me :) Nice rig you've got going on. Keep rockin'

  • Meu amigo! Muito bom!

    Equipamento de bom gosto!

I discordo do rapaz abaixo. Acho que não existe certo ou errado usar pedal ou não com este maravilhoso ampli. Você tem que usar o que te soa melhor e o que faz bem aos seus ouvidos. Parabéns!

  • i think its a big mistake to use an overdrive pedal with a marshall head like this. I mean it sounds cool, but... plug the guitar in the upper left input and turn the gain high :) and you dont need a pedal. :D and its much better that way i think. :P

  • Yes I agree...and now I'm using the down left input, jump the upper left input to down rigtht input and add a Analogman Beano Boost or a Keeley JavaBoost. The amp sounds exactly

like Free and LZeppelin was...The Boosters is the real trick!!!!

Soon a new video w/this setting. Thanks for your text....

  • you should try the celestion blue speakers!

  • only if he wants vox tone, and i really don't think he wants it because for this amp he could have 5 voxes... ;)

  • well blues don't excactly give a vox tone, its just very warm and crunchy.

  • Ooooooh yes ! I just got a new cab with 2 G12H30 and 2 gold (very similar to the Blue) : with my JTM45 clone (BENROD-Electro Plexi45) it's just gorgeous creamy tone !!!!!

  • @garciaman55

Any chance of getting the video with the booster's soon? and possibly with a strat?

  • @garciaman55

Is that video with the boost gonna be coming?

  • yeah but you have to turn it up so load its intolerable. unless your playing a very large venue

  • @adam10603 As a matter of the fact a cool set up is to have the volume set lower for the neck pickup and turn the volume knob way up for the bridge pickup;

  • Great playing man i envy the JTM you have =D BTW you kinda remind me of Jon Lord lol

  • Thanks you

  • Fala Carlos! Mandou bem no clipe! Este amp é maravilha! Dá uma sacana nos micro clipes que eu tenho tocando meu 2061x. 'braço! Rawk!

  • Dumb question but what software do you make your video with and add the comments and such. By the way nice tone.

  • what's the name of the first song?

  • "You don't love me"...I knew this song by Allman Brothers Band...

  • @fuzzface85 Buddy Guy and Junior Wells pull this one off really nicely as well as the Allman Brothers.

  • what a slick pimp...hey, where do live so i can rob you

  • Is there a difference between a JTM45 and a JTM45/100?

Great playing btw. Is that rack on the top in an effect loop? I didn't think they had em.. anyway.. nice playing :D

  • JTM45's are 50 watt. This is presumably a 100watt version.

  • JTM45's are at stock 30 watts... Also there is the first JTM45/100, which this one is a remake off... Then there is the JTM45/100 that came out later, which is what the Jimi Hendrix Stack is a remake off. The later one is more in your face than this one. Also it has a few different changes in the parts, as well as a different exterior. Both are very valuable.

  • actually the jtm45 is only 30 watts. the 45/100 is a 100 watt, and a different circut then the jtm45.

  • What great TONE!!! What song is this? I like it!

  • same here my friend, a dreamer and im already 16 its too l8te in my opinion, i wanted to start younger

  • like start at 11?

  • What an amazing setup!

  • it was actually Pete Townshend that convinced Jim Marshall to build the JTM 45/100 - its my favorite amp - I'm very envious.

  • how would you compare this guitar to gibsons 58 vos line? just wondering how much u paid for it im in the market

  • the 58 vos is the same thing as this, but this has coil split pickups, and the tuners custom by jimmy, and the finish and certificate, i prefer the 58 VOS for the price, im a huge jimmy fan, but the 58 is the real thing

  • There's a very important diference. The neck have a custom profile that Mr.Page did to turn the original baseball neck to a very confortable mix neck...this is the trick and the more value paid.Thankz NoiseFeild brother...

  • Very nice...actually its a Sonny Boy Williamson tune!!!

  • nice video my friend! peace

  • That amp and guitar are SEXY as hell, great playing man

  • GREAT SOUND!! COMPLIMENTI PER IL SET-UP!!! Alex da Napoli (IT)

  • Could you please tell why this amp has 4 inputs. I really love this sound.

  • The two left inputs have more high frequences, in the top more gain, in the down flat...the two right inputs is the "normal" like the 50's Fenders with the same, the top mor gain and the down flat. This amp is a PowerHouse 50's Fender Bassman with KT66 tubes...

  • This video has many WTF moments towards the end.

  • What's WTF???

  • W stands for what, T stands for the, and F stands for something very naughty.

  • Hey, really nice playing between 4:35 and 4:52!

  • NIce joke man!!

  • Yeah, I know!

No, but seriously, really nice tone you've got comin out from that rig! Playin is not too bad either, hehe!

Are you with any band or something?

    Peace
