good video but bad detail you dont show every plug and u removing them i cant figure out how to take out this plug thats attached to the mobo its like a button cell battery
I Would NOT recommend doing this on a tissue box, they usually have a thin plastic dispenser to remove tissues, it will stick to the bottom of you'r mother board, if not cleaned it can cause other problems with you'r board. I WOULD SUGGEST to use a kitchen top bench that is heat resistant.
Very good video, the only thing I did differently is to take the ribbon cable off with the component it was connected to, not to take the ribbon cable out of the component and leave it dangling on the mobo. Other than that, very helpful. My model type is the same as yours, and I was having trouble watching djwetzel's (not sure if spelled right) video because I had screws he didn't have, etc etc.
BRO!!!!! Words can't explain my gratitude! It works again. My model was a little different, so i had to watch another video to reassemble it correctly but I'm up and running again. Thank you so much for the clarity and thoroughness!
hey why does my ps3 make 1 beep sound when i play a online game then after i quit game or turn off system it makes a beep and the game loading to long thats why i quit the game it makes 1 beep can any one tell me why
I have removed all the old thermal compound so the heat sinks are nice and clean. what would happen if i didn't reapply any new thermal compund after?
I did this and it worked, thanks! Best advise is to video record yourself taking it apart and organize screws, I used a misc item box to put the screws in as I was taking it apart.
@Modern247Warfare Yeah my heat gun is the same range... but I think it was closer to 1000 degrees. The key is to heat it evenly and at the right distance.
