This is a baby bird trying to eat adult food. I hope the owners know enough to feed it baby food. This is very disturbing.

I think your comment is just ridiculous. It is a well known fact amoung breeders that baby birds start to "mouth" seeds and pellets whilst still in the nest or brooder. It's a normal part of their development as they slowly depend less and less on the parents. That bird looks the picture of health: s/he is thriving.
