@Pry4goldGarage stopped getting played mainly because of the trouble that follwed the scene, where ever there was a garage night some got stabbed, shot or beat up and big club owners didnt want the trouble or they got pressured by police to stop hosting nights then little clubs on the verge of closing down carryed on playing it to bring in money but the trouble still carryed on because of low security standerds in the small clubs. the same thing happend with speedgarage and garage in birmingham

@Pry4gold well the simple answer is the violence associated with the style of music,i love garage,hardcore,funky,drum n bass,since back in the day with the likes of mickey finn,grooverider,ect but when so solid were popular a few years ago,they were linked with some "A holes" who were into the crime side of grime,lol,and so the garage scene went back underground due to negative press!
