  • This man was American.

  • I've been to Thailand. I saw a 40-50 year old man walking down the street hand in hand with an 8 year old girl... ... That was his prostitute. I made eye contact and he knew what he was doing was disgusting.

  • inspirational,colorful art,keep it up

  • This song was also covered in Spanish by a Christian band named BLEST - Dios de esta ciudad.

  • can't stop saying amen to every word of that

  • Father, help us to step out in faith and be obedient to you no matter what the cost. Help us to lay down our lives for the sake of the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Cause us to run the race with patience, and endure to the end; forsaking all and gaining the victor's crown of life. I ask this in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen

  • GOD BLESS THAILAND!! :)

  • Praise God!!!

  • Its 3 days after the Bomb blast in Moscow. This Sunday we will sing this song in church.

  • Played this in church today with my worship team. Very powerful lyrics. I just got chills hearing him tell the story.

  • they were singing in my church today :-)

  • I'm impressed with this man's heart, every bit as much as I'm impressed with the song. May there be many more musician/ministers like him who would forsake the antiseptic-ized "recording studio" and "take up their cross" , instead, "out there" in the fallen world, where people are on the highway to hell.

  • Awesome! Great inspiration for the church!

  • This is what it means to be HIS hands and feat - Amazing testimony! He is the King of Kings - Light to the darkness - Strong Tower to the weak - Shelter to the weary - Comfort to the grieving - Hope to the hopeless. We have the authority from Christ to carry out the great commission - Amen. Blessings Bro!

    That's MY KING!!

  • Amen.

  • friggin preach it boydo! yeeeeooooo!

  • was it cold in there..?

  • @BEWAREtheWORM and @1chickie14 i was there at SBCV studentz camp too! i loved everytime they played this song!

  • SBCV STUDENTS CAMP 2010 INCREDIBLE my favorite song

  • I was just at Liberty University with them and they played this song alot. Its my favorite

  • I am blessed by this song and I know that God will surely reign my country, Thailand, this year. Amen!!!

  • My praise band played this song at a church camp at the beginning of the year. That's the first time i heard it. They first told the story behind it, and i think everyone fell in love with the song right away. GOD IS NOT DONE CHANGING THE WORLD. GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE HERE.

  • I MET THIS GUYY!! <3

  • get off this video then if you don't agree, but why do you need to insult them?

  • I saw them yesterday and bought a poster and got it signed by all of 5 members BLUETREE ROCKS

  • Anointed

  • I saw these guys perform this song last week live. We were in the very front row...and it was just utterly AMAZING. Outstanding Job Bluetree. I want to make music that moves people like you guys do! Way to go Aaron, Pete, Ernie, and Shiney! :)

  • My favourite! Thanks!

  • That is truly incredible! God is never too far away from anyone, no matter where they are. We may feel that we don't need God. But if there is one thing I have learned in my life, it's that I need the Lord.

  • I love Irish Accents :)

  • saw them live yesterday!!!!!!!!!! love it got an autograph

  • an autograph from bluetree? that's so weird they're just a bunch of guys from my church

  • i love this song. what he left out for some reason is that they saw thes young like 9-15 yo children sold as sex slaves on the streets. that part when i first heard it really got to me and inspired me to start changing this world

  • I don't think the point of this interview is if Thailand is the sex capital of the world. Many of us may use that "exageration" to make a point in describing an experience we had. Give the guy a break and try and understand the point, instead of beginning "useless arguments"!

May God's Spirit reach even the nastiest and the prettiest cities on our planet!

  • I LOVE Bluetree (:

  • nhorsey, it doesnt matter who has moved in or out of the band but its about sharing the word through music and worship, and getting to know god better. the lyrics are powerful and it doesnt matter who is saying them, as long as they use them for the glory of god

  • I'm not too big a fan of Bluetree now, i was at their original "greater things" cd launch and saw them many times between 05-07, but the current line up is different from what i remember...only aaron boyd remains of the originals

Anyone know why the others left?

  • Hello Blue Tree...I seen you in Woodstock, Georgia today Sunday October 25,2009. I wanted to let you know that I felt all your hearts this day. I am thankful for your love for God. I pray your walk become stronger. I pray that the example you set becomes wider. I wanted to talk but you were gone. I will try to reach you on facebook..

  • I'm christian from Thailand. I like this song much but peoples here are not sure that it is true or not that our country is the top of the world as they said.

I think it's like the city of other countries such as Amsterdam, Netherlands.

I heard the things about this in Europe more than in my country, you know.

But christians in Thailand are fasting to interceed for REVIVAL will come up here soon. We need your prayers as well.

May God bless all the nations!

  • Popsy, Thailand is not the sex capital of the world as Aaron boyd would make out. He hasnt checked his facts at all.

  • @PopsyChan It's part of Southeast Asia, where sex trafficking is rampant. Actually, India is the sex trafficking capital of the world, for several reasons. First, it's second only to China in population. Second, it operates on a caste system. The lowest caste, the Dalits or "untouchables," exist be used and abused as far as the higher castes are concerned. Third, Hindu belief dictates that sex with a virgin cures STDs; hence the young ages of the girls involved.

  • Thank you for this post!

  • We had a young man from Thailand live with us in Michigan, USA for 9 months last year. We are praying for your country and praying that God would bring Revival to the hearts of your people. Word of Life Ministries has established a Bible Institute that is there to teach others how the reach others for Christ.

You will remain in our prayers,

    The Dykstra Family

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song was played at my baptism and has always been close to my heart. Recently, I heard Natalie Grant tell the story behind this song, I now appreciate it even more bc of the passion

  • Where did they get the original composition for it?

  • i didn't know the story behind this when i first heard it. The first time i ever heard it was before i went on a missions trip to thailand

  • aaron taught me drums for a year:)

  • they told this story last night at my church when they played. i met the whole band and they are so amazing and nice. God shines through them so beautifully. Bluetree is fantastic.

  • Thank you and yes is real for all of us; listen and really listen and then we can see God and know his way; so thankful to have been changed completely to love to worship Christ.

We are here to serve with who we are with and where we are; thankful to have a job and with people and family most of the time; thanks Jesus again & again

    Peter

  • this is an amazing song!

  • I can tell you that he and the rest of the band are completely legit too! I spent the whole week with them at Camp Electric, and they live what they sing. They have it right when they say reach out to people with love, because we have obviously gone wrong with the "Take Jesus or go to hell" ultimatum. Show them His love first, and they will want it, but if we start with punishment, we will scare so many away from Him. These guys have it right, and I couldn't agree more!

  • my brother went there too. lol

  • I love this. He's completely right too.

  • they were soooo amazing at YC i hope they come back

  • They were the worship leaders at Camp Electric, it was about the most amazing experience ever.

  • saw them at YC 09 ALBERTA it was the greatest expierience ever and its amazing how god can work in ur lives to create miracles

  • saw them at camp their amazing

  • That's a new tattoo =P

I remember the first time they played this and it was so raw and powerful even though it wasn't finished. They told the story just before they played it. It was amazing.

  • THAT'S AMAZING! This is why I really want this song to be a themesong for a comic created by me! I had a random thought of having this song the theme long before I knew the background of the song! And the way the background of the song matches up with the plan I have for this comic is amazing! I want the comic to witness to the lost world and show them that God is the God of all nations!

And as of now, I've been talking to a comic artist who can make this comic do just that! Keep in prayers!!

  • wow

  • this is one of the greatest songs in the world. it sounded really good at YC. sure didnt leave our group with dry eyes

  • i was at a bluetree concert tonight at rock church in nova scotia!

they came to nova scotia to do a concert at our church

  • Wow - God is powerful. We all need to be doing our part - He truly has greater things than what we are settling for. Thanks - your words are inspiring many.

  • LOL! Coca Cola. Thailand seems to enjoy that drink.

It's amazing that they were inspired to write this song in a major center for sex trafficking. If that's not prophetic, I don't know what is.

  • POWERFUL !!!
