  • I love the old school look of the nightster

  • i really like those pipes how much did they cost?

  • I’m not particularly a fan of straight pipes that seemingly aim to just be as obnoxious as they can be with no tone at all, but a nice set of pipes adds a sensory experience to riding that you apparently have no grasp of. You’re passing judgment in regard to an experience that you don’t seem to know much if anything about.

  • beautiful, but I HATE THE NOISE. It screams "I have no respect for anyone and look at how big my EGO is, jealous huh?"

  • @LuckyGuu I DON,T KNOW WHY THESE GUYS LOVE CRAZY NOISE ON A BIKE , THE COPS CAN HEAR YOU THREE BLOCKS AWAY COMING . I LIKE THE BMW BIKE NOISE THEY PASS YOU BY AND DON,T EVEN HEAR THEM COMING , UNTIL THEY ALREADY PASS YOU BY THEN YOU REALIZED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN PASS BY A BMW . NOW THATS WHAT I CALL STEALTH , THATS THE WAY IT SUPPOSED TO BE .

  • @bonehead1603 I was expecting your comment to be 100% different. I couldn't agree with you more. I saw a MC Gang or Club at a Delaware flea market yesterday and I think everyone of them were on Harleys, a bunch of clones. Bet they wouldn't let you ride if you weren't on a Harley. I like this bike, but none of the chrome.

  • My favourite HD. Thanks for posting.

  • 6'3 and your on your tippy toes to balance a sporty. I think somone is bullshiting.

  • thanks to you, i just order one now :)

  • Like the style and sound of it, it has that classic look to it that makes this just a kick ass bike, I'm a big guy, 6'0 and 280 and love this machine.

  • @puffisnick09

things got not issue with a 280lb guy on it?

  • @dumapies

well that's why I liked this bike in particular, I started on an enduro and being big it had a fuck of a lot of problems, then moved to different sportsters and had problems with balancing issues and bottoming out. This bike I didn't really have problems like that, I wanna say because the bike is centered lower to the ground but idk. The bikes design allows for easy comfort and mobility for fat dudes like me. Although I feel like clint walker, its small as hell!!!! and I tower it!

  • I'm 5'2" with a 30" inseam. Would I be able to flat foot?

  • Can you please let me know if it work with a 2011 Nightster ? Thank you.

  • Been thinking about getting a Nightster or Iron. Any idea if the cast spoke rims from a 1200L (polished with black highlites) fit the Nightster (or Iron). From what I've been able to find - they are 19's in front and 16's in back. Haven't found if they Nightster/Iron's use a different size. Not that knowledgeable about bikes yet. Thanks.

  • A good first bike? Input would be appreciated. Only thing, I'm 6'3", 210 lbs. I don't intend to do extended highway driving. Is this the bike for me?

  • @Nyarl3 Mine was bad about bottoming out with my weight……..otherwise it’s a fun bike. They seem ‘small’ now that I have my BT, but I suppose that’s relative. Yes, good starter bike for sure…..

  • @Fastfwd01 What's your "BT"? I'm also looking for a "starter" bike b/n the 883 Iron and this one.

  • @Nyarl3 Not for you if you are tall. 26 inch seat height!

  • Nice bike.Thinking of getting one myself as a 2nd runner.

Sounds like you shot your load at 0:14 just looking at the bike.

  • I like the look of this bike, it says I'm formal but I'm here to party

  • cool sound !

  • take it easy revmaster.

  • i ride an orange one with forward controls, im 6'1", and i fit just fine.

  • Mine's olive green. Fits me fine since I'm in military. HD no longer makes olive green.

  • yes good. No shit. and that is a good bike. Not too heavy. just good

  • Is the performance between a Nightster and an Iron 883 like night and day?

  • Nice bike. Are these Shortshots crazy loud with baffles?

  • well that bike wont last long the way you just start it up and start rompin on the throttle right away

  • @NubsWithGuns Don't own it anymore........traded in after 1 year and 10,000 miles - like new.

FYI, I had just been on a afternoon ride - so much for your uninformed input.........

  • @Fastfwd01 what did u get after you traded it in ?

  • @msufan8854 check my other videos...... I traded for an '09 Street Bob and I LOVE it! The Nightster was fun, but the Street Bob has a bit more legs for the highway.....

  • @Fastfwd01 yea my buddy has a 10' fat bob ... Im only 5'9 ... 155lbs so its a perfect fit for me right now

  • @Fastfwd01 Would that even be bad for a bike anyway?

  • @NubsWithGuns nothing is wrong with rompin it, you idiot. learn ur shit b4 u talk.

  • @GeorgiaBoii32

    LMAO

ok you think that if you want

  • @NubsWithGuns LMFAO LOL ROFL LMFWAO, shh nigger, ive been ridin bikes more than uve been alive u lil 10 yr old punk bitch.

  • @GeorgiaBoii32 I love it when whites call each other nigger. It means they finally got it right. lol

  • @Kartajen lol nigger is not only towards blacks dude, i hate when people think that..my black friend calls me a nigger all the time..and i call em one..its just a word dude

  • awesome!

  • Nice bike but it sounds like shit!!!!!!!

  • you can always Frisco the tank to hold yer belly...congrats on the bike dude.

  • yeah this bike is a chicks bike . IS A PUSSY MAGNET THAT IS WHAT THE SPORSTERS ARE. any bike that is good enough for evel knievel is good enough for me .

  • was wondering how the fuelpak is working out for you. Have the same bike and about to add VH shorts, however after doing tons of research, it seems that people differ in regards to its quality. Power Commanders, SERT and other mods are an option. Thundermax EFI unit seems to make the most sense, but does cost 800 dollars. Your thought?

  • Can anyone tell me, If I install short shots to my nightster but leave the stock air filter, do I have to remap the the bike? Please Help!

  • Man, i have a 2005 Roadster with cams and Cobra dragpipes, orange & white. I love the orginal rebel harley. anyone who thinks it's a girl back is a dirty butthole! I can hold my own.........awesome nightster bro!!!

  • ~Sweeeeet Ride~***************Live To Ride

  • great bike!!!

  • nice bike my man. i also hate opinionated people when it comes to bikes. listen..idk if it is whether you got a vstar classic or a boulevard and are now regretting your purchase or if you one of those annoying, half a man type strapped to a crotch rocket (oops i just got a opinionated myself) but give it a rest...i got an 883xl..by no means a beast of a bike but i love my harley. can't wait to murder it out with black wheels, ape or z bars, white wall tires, and these v&h pipes...ride for life

  • beautiful bike man..how long are those 412 shocks? i can see from their site they go from 11 to 13.5 inches..

  • good lookin bike!!

  • my height is 5"7 by the way

  • @josephpena956 Man, there are guys over 6ft who ride these. Check out the XL Forums - best Sportster site I found. I'm 5'6" and could easily flat foot.

If you are heavy like I am - I might suggest the heavy duty Progressive shocks. I bought the regular and I bottomed out all the time with them.

  • @Fastfwd01 So if I'm 6'1 I should still be alright on it? I'm just worried about being too big for the bike. I was looking into the Iron 883 but I'm not sure on that either.

  • @95beretta I am shopping for a bike now too. I tried out a nightster with mid controls and an 883 superlow with forward controls... I am 5'9" and the forward controls were far more comfortable for me even though the superlow is a smaller bike. 31" inseam btw.

  • what is an appropiate hieght to ride this bike, im planning on buying one this month and i just wanted a little info, your Harley sounds superb bro, thanks for the vid

  • Nightster or 48? Which do you prefer

  • @yahoochiewatchie I liked my Nightster, but they are getting pretty common I suppose. To each their own I guess.

  • @yahoochiewatchie i like fatbob and harley 48 and I have both of them...

  • @yahoochiewatchie Im a fan of the 48 myself.

  • that sounds great performance wise and when ur riding do they make a difference??

  • @drewleelake Well, they are supposed to open it up a bit.....combined with the high flow air cleaner and tuner it's supposed to bump up the hp/tq......mostly though - it just sounds way faster! LOL Those Short Shots scream!

  • aounds great!!! i want one so bad!!

  • Nice Ride!!

  • Does this seat sit you back more then stock?

  • @Tattoofreakster I didn't find that it did very much, but some people do believe it does move you and I can't honestly remember which way

  • @Tattoofreakster I didn't find that it did very much, but some people do believe it does move you and I can't honestly remember which way

  • Does the mustang seat sit you higher than the stock seat ?

  • @Tattoofreakster

Yeah, about an inch maybe......it's totally worth it though - you can ride all day on the Vintage!

  • OMG, this is so cool sound! sick man! :)

  • the most beautiful bike of the creation

  • My daughter's bike has about the same set up, only I had Harley put a race tuner and mapping on it. So I was out the other day riding the Ultra and my daughter was on the Nightster..I opened up the throttle and got up to 105 just in time to watch her go by me like I was going 55. Not something we wanted mom to find out about.

  • you got big belly...

  • @bagusbali75able That is a profoundly astute observation

  • Nice rev sounds cool

  • What kind of a fuel pack did you install into this beast? I just installed the V&H fuel pack with my short shots and a high flow Kuryyakyn hypercharger but the beast backfires on deceleration. Just read about the Zipper Thundermax but thats another $850 or so. Your sounds smooth even after you let go after the rev.

  • the design is soooo good..damn

  • is that a harley . fat boy

  • Wonderful Bike wonderful sound

  • rad bike

  • the whole chick bike thing is stupid. period. and i refuse to talk to people that are dumb enough to think that way, sweet ass ride dude. im debating about picking one up. im a small guy at 5ft5, but this bike feels like i would just get blown around the road. how is the suspension btw?

  • @undeadfred1 A 1200 is not a particularly small bike, but yeah, I traded mine in with the Ride Free program for a Street Bob and it holds the road much better. Im pretty heavy and the suspension on the Nightster just wasnt up to carrying me personally. Others might not find it so objectionable, but it bottomed out on me all the time and thats no fun. The Street Bob has enough suspension to carry me and then some comfortably.

  • Adding anything to this bike is a waste in the HP department. Buy a faster bike if you want speed, this is a bar hopper and better suited for females to learn on. It is a very well balanced low horse power bike. Dont try to make it faster

  • @TTBlackOPS A girls bike huh, you must have a rice burner. Some people choose to build there speed instead of buying it off the showroom floor. Show some respect. The bottom line...enjoy what you ride, no matter what it is!!! D bag!

  • @mwegryn I have this bike Moron and I know 1st hand it is a girls bike!!!! My wife rides it,. Either you are broke or you are a pussy to buy 1 for yourself!!

  • @TTBlackOPS your fuckin stupid. some people arent big enough to ride dynas and softails. some people like a light nimble sporty harley. i have a black 08 nightster. i like to race and cruise. nightster is great for both.

    quit running your mouth jackass

  • nice bike man!i love the sound of those short shots...

  • sweet machine indeed.Thinking about getting one for meself. Keep it positive out there !

  • Hey Buddy, very nice ride... Question about the seat, which size is this one? 12.5" or 14.5"?

  • @wdanda 12.5

  • @Fastfwd01 How comfortable are they for long rides (i.e. 300miles+)? I'm a big guy too, non sure if the 12.5 would be enough to support my size, but on the other hand, 14.5 seems too big for a sporty... What do you think based on your purchase? thanks!

  • @wdanda That's what they're made for......all day riding. I was more than happy with the 12.5 and I have the non wide on my new Street Bob and am happy with it as well. For me the seat was already a little bulky and i didn't care to have any more bulk than I felt like I really needed, but I've heard people rave about the wide - and the wide with the backrest too.

  • Very nice bike.

  • does your wife know your playing with her toys??

  • @monkybrainz1 ... Do you have such a small dick that you need to ride a large bike to feel like a man? BTW, who fucking cares about your opinion?

  • wow, looks like you care dude, but it's all good sorry to tease you on your first bike, you'll out-grow it in a week and get something that can haul your fat ass around.

  • No surprise here but you are completely wrong once again. I am not fat, it's not my first bike and I have had my bike (not this guys, I don't even know this fool) for a while. ASSHOLE .

  • what the fuck you doing commenting on a statement ment for someone els?...dork!

  • 1. oil doenst build ennough pressure to reach the head of the motor till about 30 seconds after starting, and 2, reving the motor at high RPM before the bike reaches peak temp is wreaking havoc on the inside of your motor, the pistions heating up much faster than the cylinders and could potentally cause warping and siezure

not trying to be a dick just a lil 411, id hate to see you blow up sucha nice bike, im getting one myself soon too

  • It's the end of a day's riding......I'll keep your advice in mind.

  • I love this bike. I am contemplating getting one. However, I am 6'3". I like this bike and the Harley Iron the best. Am I to tall for this bike? I would greatly appreciate anyones help on this. It will be my first bike. Thanks

  • gorgeous man!

  • The sound of rock `n` roll!!!

  • I get my Nightster next week. I am fing fizzing. Cant wait. Oh the pain.

  • WOW!!! I totally want one...

  • beautiful!!

  • now that is the sound of a Harley

  • Beautiful! Your bike is simply stunning! Never been into the sportster much but this one and the little Iron 883 fantastic.

    I want one! Dan

  • this looks like v-rod

  • Sweet bike. Dynas are for fat asses who can't fit on human sized bikes. Personally I like fast bikes ,but the nightsters are great.

  • Nice Sporty

  • No tiene ni un brillo el video de este guaton qliao. jajaja

  • 10,000 miles in nine months before trading in for a Street Bob last Christmas.......12,000+ on the Street Bob since.

  • @6825178

This comes from someone who has Beyonce favorited. LOL

  • @6825178

oh my, what a witful retort, resorting to childish name calling like a little 3rd grader...Go play keyboard commando somewhere else. Why dont you go back to looking at those obese women in the panties, and the Birthing Videos of that channel you subscribed to last week you pervert. You obviously know nothing about repest for someone who at least has their knees in the wind.

    You just got PWND. :)

  • respest =respect....

  • @6825178 LOL you really should stick with jacking off your voycammaster channel you sick old perv and leave decent people alone.

and just an FYI....you have no clue what bikes I have.

  • since you have V&H exhausts and V&H fuelpack, why didn't you put V&H air cleaner ? I did.

  • Awesome bike..

  • In Estonia it costs 18 000 dollars:S

  • Same here :( the Uk is an expensive country :s

  • how much you buyd for it? Im from Estonia and i want to know how different are the prices?:D

  • The bike was about $10,500 not including ttl. I spent about $2k on accessories for it before all was said and done.

  • A wolf in sheeps clothing. Love it.

  • Thanx for the comeback on the seat .

I noticed that you traded up to the FXDB .

How would you compare the BOB to your last ride ? Such as stock comfort and ride quality right out of the box compared to the 1200N ?

Do you plan on making a vid with your new ride and mods ?

  • Oh, man, the Street Bob is far and away better on all counts. I liked the Nightster, but it was ROUGH! The Street Bob is smooth. Never bottoms out. Im pretty heavy though..so, that hurts the Nightster ride some.

The videos I have of my Street Bob are about as modded as it currently is. Ive added a Mustang Vintage Solo seat and bullet headlamp, but thats really it.

  • Well done .

    Who made the seat ?

  • Mustang

  • I love the sportster, I have a 05 and its kick to ride.

    before it I had-dyna-Fatboy-and flhtcu-

I seem to always love the sportster-its just flat out fun!!!!! and very quick!

and if anyone says girls bike again I see girls can ride anything they want so what-IT IS A PEOPLE BIKE)

  • fuk that dude, girls get anything these days...hate it when they lable the sweet nightster as girls bike.

  • rgr that Bro)

  • Lucybrown is a fuckass! that was a stupid comment assfuck!

  • If you had as many cocks sticking out of you as you've had stuck in you, you'd look like a fucking porcupine.

  • lucybrown: That line is a littler funnier when you say "pricks" instead of "cocks" because then it makes a bit more sense.

Do I know jokes and the proper way to tell them?? Does the pope shit in the woods?

  • Wow lucy, another tough cyber tough guy. That's different. Do you have a cyber tattoo, and some cyber brass knuckles? You're really scaring me. Please don't point your cyber pistol at me, I know how you cyber tough guys like to scare us real people. Now calm down, go back to the basement and your mommy will bring you some Lucky Charms.

  • i also am sick of the people calling them chick bikes. the sporty 1200 is the fastest stock bike harley makes.

  • No it's not, the V-Rods are much faster.

  • Why would anyone call a Sportster a chick bike? These are the classic "rebel without a cause" motorcycles. I hate opinionated people when it comes to bikes. The whole point of owning a Harley is to cruise regardless of the style that suits you.

    Gorgeous Nightster btw...

  • Cause people associate Harleys with chromed out ape hangers, etc

  • Chaz : They aren't chick bikes. They're Harleys who gives a rats ass what "real bikers" think. My daughter and I are putting V&H set up like this on her 09 Nightster next week and my other daughter is refurbishing her 92 Sporty with me. They are not only great "beginner" bikes, but adding bigger tanks, and more stuff, makes them ultimate keepers. They've turned a few heads driving them to highschool. Hell when I want to feel like a biker, I get off the Ultra and ride one of the Sportsters.

  • i agree.

  • @Chazwozel I find 99% of people who hate on any video on you tube especially car and bike vids dont have a bike themselves lol Sportsters are not a chick bike

  • YES! Come on to her buddy! Tired of the Puss Bags who only barely touch the throttle, giver haha! Im going to buy mine tomorrow!

  • This is gonna be my first bike when im back stateside :)

  • Glad to see someone else like the sportsters too. Tired of hearing folks say their girl bikes!

  • sounded..... SICK!!!!

  • Wunderbar !!!

  • love the black on black

  • same here..

  • The Nightsters are so badass....so retro and old school.....Even tho i'm a hot head 16 year old i'd rather have this then a sport bike...

  • theyre great bikes my mom rides one

  • nice bike i wanna get that so bad either that or an iron 883 but ill probably get the nighster or if i can afford it the night train

  • same position as u my friend.

  • rookie question, but; what would you consider better, quiet baffles, or standard baffles?

awesome bike bro, gonna get mine next month, just looking for advice

    thanks

    5/5

  • That would be a matter of personal preferenceI like my standard baffles.

  • u shud get forward controlsss!

  • Are those springs standard or heavy duty?

and how is the ride at 11" compared with the stock size? Im thinking about going lower 11 or 11.5 but

ill have a passenger some of the time what do you think.

  • Standard 11 and they bottomed out all the timeI was too heavy, but even so there is just too little travel. Heavy duty might not bottom out as easy, but they have to be pretty harsh. I cant say for sure though just my assumption.

  • Great vid, I'm thinking of getting one, curious to how tall you are, I'm 5'11" 210 lbs, people say I'm too big for it, just wanted to know what you though, I've also been told if I got the forward controls I'd be fine. Thanks.

  • Yeah, I think youll be alright. Lots of people over on XL Forums can help you..they have a thread for people over 6ft on the Nightster.

  • would you ever take this bike on a cross country trip or is it a rough ride

  • People do it, but I dont know if I would. That Mustang Vintage Solo made the ride bearable. I could do 400 miles a day maybe on it. Really, once you get on the highway generally speaking its not going to bottom out as much if the roads are decent. Im pretty heavy so it liked to bottom out on me pretty bad which made the ride pretty lame.

  • that is the exact fucking bike i want dude. awsome.

  • Nice bike. I've got a modded out 03 Xl, and I've had more fun with this bike then any over the past 30yrs.. If anyone is looking into riding, get one of these, you won't be sorry. Forget all of those plastic sportbikes, you'll get bored with them, besides the girls love Harleys, my wife gets pissed when women come over and ask me questions about my bike.I never got that with

    my Ninja.

  • dope ass bike dawg

  • With baffles? Wow, thats an aggressive sound, id of thought ud have to remove them to get that sort of decibel level. Get a vid up when uv don the rest of your mods to it, would love to see the finished article!

  • I actually traded that Nightster in on a Street Bob last Christmas. That was pretty much all I did to it. I put the Dark Customs timer and derby cover on it and Diamond Black pegs and grips.

Those Short Shots are pretty loud. I really liked them.

  • how much do you think your mods 'woke'

    up the bike?

  • The exhaust transformed the bike completely. The stock exhaust was neutered pretty badly. I actually installed the Screamin Eagle a/c first and rode it and you could tell a bit of difference in performance with it. With the full stage 1 mods it certainly sounded a great deal more aggressive and it probably did run quite a bit better.

Between the new seat and shocks the seat provided far more improvement to ridability.

  • Beautiful bike mate, is the exhaust modified (baffels etc)?

    I love the black finish!
