  • amazing.thx

  • Pavarotti and Lou reed in a perfect day

    amazing.

  • For the ones who found anything wrong with this.

    It's not your fault.

    Your family taught you nothing.

    Your freinds are Idiots.

For the ones who get it.............when Lou looks over and smiles as he has just heard Pav sing his song with respect......Yeah this is great,

  • And I readed some "lou reed cant even remember his own songs lyrics!" I think he didnt know that he was getting electroshocks at teenagers cause hes bisexual and it was hard to even read 17 pages

  • ...Bloody hell this lou vs some singer-opinions are as awful as dog vs cat-stuff XD I didn't wait this one, but ah would shat on my pants as Reed if ahm with PAVAROTTI. Seriously he have absolute musicear. And Lou Reed was protopunksinger originally remember that! People tooks too seriously Lulu and this.. Still my opinion I like more style how Lou Reed sings :)

  • Lou REED best singer evar

  • Comment removed

  • may its just us that it sounds bad. But by the crowd it sounded great!

  • Lou is uncomfortable ,He is in fucking Italy performing with pavarotti even elvis would have been out of his league.

  • it's always a beautifull song thank you lou reed and pavarotti

  • THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HA HA he look like Azamath in Borat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i used to be a metllica fan and then i took a lulu to the knee...

  • This Is bad. But listen to "Berlin" start to finish and at least you will understand the song.

  • Good song, great musicians and the worst performance I've ever seen or heard.

  • The fat kid though could sing about a dog shit sandwich and it would sound good

  • Not good to be fair, but we all have our bad days. Not a perfect day

  • this must have been the last time lou performed and sang before he thought he was too cool to sing anymore and just started talking through his songs

  • This is crap. Both of them.

  • @Deaglan56 And you are moron.

  • @Deaglan56 Do better shit head.

  • yes, there are mistakes in the singing of both of them, but wtf .This is SO FUCKING GOOD!!!

  • Lou Reed struggles to sing. But, inexplicably, I really like his style ...

  • absolute dogshit - worse than his recent efforts with Metallica - please retire now Lou or go on the X Factor where this effort belongs....

  • Too much people on stage for Reed I guess :) Orchestra and Pavarotti --- way too serious

  • lou .always great!

    pavarotti dito!

  • Quite a stage, and I love the way Reed sings here.

  • Jesus, this is so bad. And I like Lou Reed and all, but yeah.

  • In the beginning, Pavarroti looks like the Burger King mascot...

  • holy shit what a fuckin mess this is Pavoratti looks crazy ass hell

  • Lovely backing, surprisingly bad and out of time singing.

  • lou reed is katastrofa........

  • @MrMelouch2 mhn les malakies

  • Lou Reed, had it.....lost it

  • wakkk horrible

  • Then again this was the best choice (songwise). What else would have made more

sense given Lou Reed's catalog? Anyone??

  • Watched this months ago & kinda' got it (kinda' since I thought this was an odd paring. An opera voice & one that's blunt). Even thought maybe Lou was pulling a "fast one" (since, this song can be interpreted to be about heroin - "read" into it for yourself. Wonder if Pavarotti knew that possibility...). But, it sounds good now. The original song has a very melodic melody - so does Opera. Makes sense in that way. But this an EPIC moment/concert - extending beyond

    the usual or ordinary...

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight Lou admitted in his auto biography this song was about heroine and spending the day smacked out

  • by lou's standards the singing heres quite good.....unfourtunate for him he's with Pavarotti and not Bob Dylan

  • 1:27 "Should I sing or not? umm, I will stick to my guitar"

Lr felt diminished .. Pavarotti make him sound like a child...

  • damn

  • cool

  • I just want to say Just a perfect day!!

  • Great title

  • Where was this, at all, anyone?

  • Fuckin' rubbish.

A great song ruined by two twats.

    Paverotti--- wrong type of voice.

    Reed---wrong day.

  • @roytetwart Godawful, all over the place, reaping of some fool's idea.

  • @roytetwart your comments? fuckin' rubbish! lmao

  • @welcome2myhell Fuck off faggot. Go burn your fuckin self.

  • wow

  • excelente!!!

  • Failmanjaro...

  • Pavarotti è riuscito a strappare un sorriso a Lou, incredibile! XD

Bellissima interpretazione comunque, sto trattenendo la lacrimuccia *.*

    So intense.

  • This is sad.

  • Comment removed

  • This has to be a joke. It was painful to watch it. I almost felt the embarrasment on Pavarotti's face. Must be the worst duet in music history.

  • Incredible!. How did I miss this!

  • The best song by Lou Reed

  • lou is the man...but this is a shite performance.

  • Lou Reed did NOT look comfortable : /

  • @keaney123321 that's b/c he's a flyweight compared to pavarotti.

  • @keaney123321 He was (rightfully) scared of being upstaged by Pavarotti.

  • @keaney123321 He never does...

  • @keaney123321 he is always looking like constipated ...

  • @keaney123321 he never does :p

  • Legendary! Why waste more words?

  • la più grande merda mai creata...

    pavarotti figlio di troia

  • I guess at our age this is taking a Walk on the Wild Side. I love it. It's got an element of the absurd.

  • lou reed, forever pissed, two legends

  • Who in the world is Lou Reed and where did he get the idea he could sing with Pavarotti? This may have worked in the 60's but not now. Pavarotti should only be on the stage by himself just like Susan Boyle, they need no help with others chimming in.

  • @suddenlystupid Well seeing as it was Pavarotti's concert, one is led to believe that he liked the song and asked the composer to come perform it with him.

  • that little faggot lou reed is ruining Metallica

  • @mustkillbarney121 you suck

  • @mustkillbarney121

    YEAH METAL!!!FUCKING FAGGOTS

Fuck off and die in your dirty little hole you disgusting homophobe...difference between you & Metallica?

They can write decent music & can appreciate good music without resorting to low, petty insults.

Actually, not true...but damn, you are stoopid

Plus I am sure they have a few IQ points on you.

    I guess that says something.

  • Who dream up this concert?

  • Bazareo

  • Ah, this should never have happened. Pavarotti had an amazing voice. It was like listening to an angel sing. But this song was written to suit the vocals of Lou Reed; far from an angel... I still love them both, though. It was just a novelty that wasn't worth it.

  • @jemapenny1993 It's interesting to watch though. LOL

  • @TheGB1950 Very true :)

  • Good timing Pavarotti..!! :D

  • I love from 2:30 to the end

  • oh dear.

  • From a vocal standpoint, this is the Beauty and the Beast. But Lou is way cooler.

  • This renditiion is ridiculous. How does an operatic voice fit into this song?

    It doesn't.

A novelty not worth the time.

  • pavarotti's eyebrows! LOL

  • @valeroy72 LOL

  • buah ist das scheisse

  • is this what metallica is ddoing now? OHHHH NOOOO!!!! I CANT BELEIVE METALLICA IS DOING THIS....AND PEOPLE THOUGHT SAINT ANGER WAS BAD. D''''''': metallica is over

  • @AnamariaOcampo99 hahahahahahahahahaha Llooooooooooooooooooooolllll

  • When I hear Pavarotti mumbling and mispronouncing his way through this, I can't help thinking of the long, long hours of practice English-speaking opera singers put into pronouncing Italian libretti properly. I don't think he gave this song one ounce of the respect it deserves.

  • Comment removed

  • one of the most ridiculous concerts ever staged ,,,,rock singers dont tackle ..la boheme and opera tenors shouldnt embarrass themselves trying to do pop,,although i would've loved to have heard them do street hassle!

  • pavarotti is on the wrong there

  • @adrianrosa110 Pavarotti died in 2007. His eyebrows had nothing to do with his voice.

  • das ist spitze, classic und lou reed.

  • Comment removed

  • Gives me goose bumps.

  • The fuck, Lou?

  • are pavarotti's eyebrows glued on!! Someone should fire is makeup artist

  • Really???

  • Du bist scheiße lou !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 266 animals that should be in the ZOO didn't like this video :)

  • @ketamina too true!

  • Who thought this was a good idea? :D

  • Actually, after a few listens (and drinks), it doesn't sound so bad.

  • hes in awe of pavorrittis voice when he sings the first chorus like a kid in a band that one day finally sounds good ...as for lou he is indifferent when he sings .so..that no shiny fascade should diminish its brutaly harsh truth and conjecture

  • Well one of the most absurd performances ever, but still, just listening to Pavarottis voice makes me forget how awfull this version of the song is...;-)

  • Sorry to say, but their vocal performances are just awful

  • you have no idea what you are talking about, I am so very sorry to say. Luciano's father died the day before this concert. The dad had asked him to NOT cancel th concert...so if he appears tired and indifferent I think that might be why.

  • You can see Lou laughing during the first chorus. You can tell he's just thinking, WTF?

  • I love the ending, and plz haters on here show some respect for Pav, hes old here but still a legend, go find a dictionary and look up the word if you have any trouble with the concept.

  • 2 absolute legends

  • Comment removed

  • This song works perfectly in its many covers and variations.

  • I'm sorry pav,you were ill but Lou was in full control. It makes my heart bleed

  • I love this song and Lou reed, and I adore pavarotti, but this is the saddest godamned thing I have heard in a long time. I'm sorry pav,you wr

  • For God's sake this is BIZARRE and I love the music of both of them but the two of em together its just hideous!!

  • Holy shit Lou is nervous in this performance, who wouldn't be standing next to such legend known for his technique.

  • This reminds me of a skit one would see off of SCTV in the 1970's. A very underrated show was Second City.

  • @soko63 yea, this is very much like sctv.....even reed can't help but laugh during this very perverse performance.....but there's a beauty which also transcends the ridiculousnous.......maybe

  • pavarotti is not tight at all!!!! He's always so laaaaaate!!!

  • anyone dissing lou reed doesn't get it.

  • @bmfdv Please help me get it. Please. I have no idea what he's thinking.

Also, I love Pavarotti. I love Lou Reed. But wth is this?

  • @chicapees

I sort of feel the same way. It needs to meet in the middle somewhere. It's too much one way and then pulled in a completely different direction. I sort of like it but I'm not sure what to think.

  • grottesco ridicolo penoso

  • this is frightening

  • Lou 'I cant sing a note, Reed should just shut up !

  • @Jackhammer180 pavaroti didn't start too good either! hahh

  • @bmfdv did I make a comment regarding Pavarotti ? No ... I don't think so, choose your words correctly next time and don't mis-quote people .......idiot ! How can you defend a performance like that ? Wash your ears out and try to listen to that crap again. But don't let your neighbours suffer as well, they heard enough the first time.

  • @Jackhammer180 ... you're a dumbass.

  • @golfsmoore and you would know what one looks like as you stare at one everyday in the mirror ... you dont know shit me so keep that hole shut ...... you moron. . .

  • advanced.

  • if i wouldn't have see it with my eyes i would never thought that they could ruin this amazing song like that!! however, the orchestra made a great job!

  • i cant believe that all those strings were arrange by Mick Ronson and never was acknowledge by the public!

  • @daverolo87 Michael never got the credit he deserved..an excellent musician and, by all accounts, thoroughly nice person.

  • The song is great but Lou's voice is crap in this video

  • grotesque

  • when they took your money to watch this crap were they totin pistols an wearing masks?I just had to ask as a concerned member of the human race!!

  • Fantastik morgenmusikk.

  • Luciano was a great tenor but my god, Perfect Day isn't about blowing your fucking load lol.

  • Had this song at my wedding as the last one :-)

  • I never thought something was missing in that song until I heard the version with pavarotti singing the refrain... just perfect

  • Unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brilliant!

  • What an unexpected mix of emotions in this song. Talk about two artists going out on a limb.......but it works!

  • 252 people didn't feed animal in the ZOO

  • @domaacz

and didn´t drink sangria in the park ^^

  • @domaacz que no este permitido no significa que el lo haga, que comentario el tuyo.

  • @domaacz 269 people should be fed to the animals in the zoo.haha

  • @domaacz or they mistaken the dislike button for the download button!!!

  • Were they totin six guns an wearing masks when they took the poor mugs money who had to sit listening to this?Help ma boab that was mince!!

  • I think it is just horrendous that Lou would do this! Terribly tasteless. With that Italian whale of a man...

  • @MowgliX Obviously you are neither a real fan of either Lou Reed or music in general.

  • @MowgliX Luciano was not only one of the greatest musicians of our era, he was also one of the greatest people. And you're one of the greatest imbeciles ever.

  • @eskorbutin89 A great man must be great in any way then, right :D

  • pavorottis face looks like a mask

  • Dear baby boomers,

One day your horrible ossified tastes will not control mainstream music because you will all be dead. I fondly anticipate a world without jeans, minivans, and Susan Boyle. I dance upon your fat ass graves. Your generation will go down as most wasteful, most stupid, and most selfish.

    Thanks for nothing,

    The future

  • this is amazing

  • Exelente la convinacion...

  • Comment removed

  • I liked it, but Lou just kinda looked like he is tired of singing this song...LOL

  • look at those eyebrows!

  • Lou rules, this song is perfect all musicians from Pavarottie to Bono wants to sing it with him. Ask miss Boyle..

  • 1:09 Pavarotti is out of rythme-pattern ...

  • A guy who can really sing and a guy who can't sing at all....

  • NADA DISSO.. LOU REED É TAO BOM QUANTO PAVAROTTI, NAQUILO QUE ELE SE PROPÕE A FAZER, E FAZ... MUITO BOA ESSA COMBINAÇÃO!!!

  • What's wrong here? I think it is great that two people who represent such diverse faces of our society can be together at the stage. They are both sensible and sensitive persons: Lou and Luciano. They look great together!!

  • Pavarotti looks like a fucking furbie. Am i on drugs?

  • simplesmenten fantástico

  • Pavarotti looks like the Burger King.

  • Lou Reed looks quite humble, who wouldn't, it's a damn good version of this song.

  • christ this is pretty cheesy...
