  • interesting comment

  • @Saphirechevy New system? makes it all sound like some kind of machine.

  • @cyoobist it will be an entirely different system of life. It will be under theocratic government.

  • @Saphirechevy NEW SYSTEM YOU MUST BE A JW. HIT ME BACK

  • he played Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. I loved listening to his parts in that movie his voice was awesome.

  • @UTFan666

I agree, I saw many of the productions. He was the best Judas ever.

  • One Good Cop I believe

  • this is for all you movies buffs...there was a song done by carl that was used in a movie that starred michael keaton about his partner being killed and he ended up raising his partners daughter. i blught the cd and loved every song but i can't recall the title of the song. i wanna say that one of the songs had " if i could" on the other cd. had the song "how deep" he was in the movie the color purple. the movie had the word "cop " in it i think.

  • wow. what an under rated talent. The best voice no one that isn't from the woodstock era knows.

  • the most confusing sentence i've read in a long time - took me a few minutes to understand = ]

  • @Halfdead59:

Excuse you. I was born in '81 & I know who he is.

  • damn, this song is a lot higher than he lets on. truly effortless voice

  • Yea...you don't realize how high he goes until you try to sing along with him!

  • I sing this song everyday -- Carl lives forever!!! Peace:) (Lailah Ali was Lucky to have him as a Stepfather!)

  • @robleejay Could you explain how he was a stepfather?

    Did he ever marry?

  • Thank you for the wonderful compliment as my cousin Carl comes from a large family of phenomenal talent. And, yes, the voice was effortless. Here's a video by Carl's cousin Nathaniel who has similar intonations in his voice - it's called "STRAIGHT CHURCHIN". Yes, it was recorded in a church setting so there's entertainment afterwards. LOL. Thank you doriggidy for posting this song!

  • Truely one of the greatist! Great teacher and guy too.

  • What a great song from Carl..

  • Can anyone post How Deep by Carl Anderson

  • R'I'P Carl Anderson! <3

  • This is the first song I heard from him. I had no idea that he had passed until now when randomly looked him yp on Wikipedia.

  • There's actually a video for that song. It was up once before.
