Vega finds out about it and instead of suing them just releases the new song with the new beat, takes a large part of the profit and gives these two guys 'DNA' a little profit too. This dance version does better than her version ever did and becomes a top 5 smash! Go figure.

They were caught and was supposed to be charged, but Suzanne Vega intervened on their behalf, and made a deal with them. The rest is history. This is the origin of MP3's.
