@mcezar -course keith wasnt a member of the KKK!! ya retard, he wasn't a racist at all! jayzuz - wot a stupid thing to ask or even think - some people, grrrrrr
it does look like a younger version of leon russell over his shoulder play a "box piano" but he is really blurry or maybe that is my eyes... O wait still have 3d glasses on from grammys...
Yes it was Jim Gordon on drums and Herbie Flowers on bass. Klaus was all over the album but as Layla Gordon corrected me on that version posted by cheetah tree it is Herbie on bass for this song.
Is that Keiyhs drinking buddy Harry Nillson, yeah i think i've heard of this i'm not sure if Graham Chapman wrote for it,i remember hearing this song near the end of Goodfella's
@ilovefreedom80 Nilsson knew just about everyone. Sadly, Moon died of an overdose at Nilsson's flat in Mayfair - the same flat Cass Elliot died in four years earlier, in 1974.
No i meant he wrote stuff for the film,Chapman used to do alot of comedy writing for films and other shows other than Python.I like your reply to the Nazi, whats that all about eh.
Goodfellas, May 18, 1980.

God, Moon just wanted to play drums. Even if it was in this dodgy looking flick!
Couldn't mime worth a damn, though. I mean, my god, just look at the Smothers Brothers footage!
Do you know if this is the only bit of the film that he's in?

I always thought on the record that it's Alan White on drums, Eric Clapton on guitar and Klaus Voorman on bass, AKA the Plastic Ono band.

man, they def need more footage of keith in the vid, but what little of him i did see was awesome...keith moon is GOD. 'nough said.

Its the snare - wish I knew what snare make/model - awesome sound !!
ironman5454 2 years ago
My guess is...the most recorded snare in history --the ludwig supraphonic--BTW was moons choice of snare 5" X 14"
Bonham used the 402 ludy 6.5 X 14
