  • Goodfellas, May 18, 1980.

  • God, Moon just wanted to play drums. Even if it was in this dodgy looking flick!

Couldn't mime worth a damn, though. I mean, my god, just look at the Smothers Brothers footage!

Do you know if this is the only bit of the film that he's in?

  • @mcezar -course keith wasnt a member of the KKK!! ya retard, he wasn't a racist at all! jayzuz - wot a stupid thing to ask or even think - some people, grrrrrr

  • Bril. Always good to see Harry Nilsson. Thanks for this. :)

  • Wait lemme see. Nilsson, Moon and Ringo Starr together. I've got a hangover just contemplating that.

  • Very cool, its always cool to watch Kieth Moon.

  • tune's from Goodfellas too.

  • Chris Spedding played guitar on the record.

  • @tomthefunky Chris Spedding played guitar on Never Mind The Bollocks too :)

  • this is the studio cut they're miming to. keith isn't really playing drums, too bad. never seen this movie, was it ever on VHS?

  • I had no idea that was Keith Moon on drums.

  • it does look like a younger version of leon russell over his shoulder play a "box piano" but he is really blurry or maybe that is my eyes... O wait still have 3d glasses on from grammys...

  • Look again - there's another keyboardist at the back on the left when harry is on the piano on the right. long grey hair. :)

  • Amazing so glad i clicked on this whats the film its off please!??

  • SON OF DRACULA 1974

  • Goodfellas.

  • check out the 7 minute version of the song posted by Termite58

  • no, not leon russel. klaus on bass?

  • WHAT A SONG! MY FAVE.

  • Hard to see, but that's Peter Frampton on guitar, Leon Russell on keys, Klaus Voorman on bass...

  • harry nilson keys mate.

  • People, people...that certainly is Keith in this video but it was Jim Gordon (Derek and the Dominoes) who played drums on the record.

  • Yes it was Jim Gordon on drums and Herbie Flowers on bass. Klaus was all over the album but as Layla Gordon corrected me on that version posted by cheetah tree it is Herbie on bass for this song.

  • I always thought on the record that it's Alan White on drums, Eric Clapton on guitar and Klaus Voorman on bass, AKA the Plastic Ono band.

  • man, they def need more footage of keith in the vid, but what little of him i did see was awesome...keith moon is GOD. 'nough said.

  • Wish Keith really played on this song cause the drums make the song! Video is great though!

  • Its the snare - wish I knew what snare make/model - awesome sound !!

  • My guess is...the most recorded snare in history --the ludwig supraphonic--BTW was moons choice of snare 5" X 14"

    Bonham used the 402 ludy 6.5 X 14

  • Watch the sequence in "Goodfellas" during the scence where Henry starts seeing helicopters...this tune plays

  • the kkk are FUCKED UP. i don't understand the purpose of hate.

plus keith moon is a beast.

  • What year is this from??? It looks like early 70's>?

  • You're not serious are you?

  • NEVER SEEN BEFORE GREAT!!

  • BRILL NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE

  • sure not !!!

  • Is keith a member of kkk?

  • weird but good.

  • Can't you delete and ban? People like that make me sick to my stomach.

    Thanks for posting BTW :)

  • I did block it from contacting me..I will now delete the hate post IT made!

    And...Thank you!

  • Is that Keiyhs drinking buddy Harry Nillson, yeah i think i've heard of this i'm not sure if Graham Chapman wrote for it,i remember hearing this song near the end of Goodfella's

  • Yes Keith and Harry were BUDS! I don't know about Graham Chapman writing the song but they all were friends.

  • @ilovefreedom80 Nilsson knew just about everyone. Sadly, Moon died of an overdose at Nilsson's flat in Mayfair - the same flat Cass Elliot died in four years earlier, in 1974.

  • @TheStockwell doesn't pete townshend own the place now?

  • @magicmike618 Does he? Thats interesting!

  • No i meant he wrote stuff for the film,Chapman used to do alot of comedy writing for films and other shows other than Python.I like your reply to the Nazi, whats that all about eh.

  • I didnt know that!

About the nazi, I have NO idea why IT posted on my video? To much hate in the world.

  • You seem to get these freaks randomly going round writing stuff, just happened to be you that time.Love, peace, gimme!

  • What movie is this? Fun and crazy 60s- early 70's. Man were the musicians sooooooooo much better.

  • Harry Nilsson in (1974 release) Son of Dracula.

  • i love this movie and hate it.

  • That was Kieth Moon on the drums!
