Drill as many 1/2" holes in your plates as you can. You will see a jump in production with lower amps. Also, use the Home Depot plates, they work a bit better.
this is really just a test jar, but I used a 1/4" x 1-1/2" bolt then SS washer then rubber Grommet through lid then SS washer, then two more washers & a wing nut. the lid of this canister is very thin so a grommet fir through it. thanks for watching. more testing to come

How did you make/wire the terminal posts? What kind of glue? Would liquid tape work?
