bout 25 k new but nah ther outa business u can get a nearly new one for 9 or 12 k in mint nick and fully tuned, 400 pounds for a vortech supercharger that gives the car 400bhp which it deserves

Cheap! - yeh you can pick one of these up for about £3,000 - driving the price down all the time and they're dirt cheap to look after. Top Quality motoring for a fraction of the German costs!

Not seen one that cheap, 6k for a scruffy non SE high mileage one, about 13 to 15k for a late registered high spec minter.

I paid £10,750 for mine.

I wouldnt call them dirt cheap to look after, £700 for a set of rear brake disks (if you can find them, no one makes them anymore) and £1000 at least for a clutch change. The engines are very reliable though and there are literaly millions of them in America, they put them in everything from mustangs to pickups.

hey m8 did u ever see the 385 for real?? it looked awesum ive got a pic of it at my house sumwhere i'll hav to dig it up. it was blue but they took the body kit off and painted it black for a zt race car (not the dreadnought)

it was so powerful it ripped off the prop shaft at tollbar island in cov much to everyones amusement waiting for the AA lol

the ultimate zt was the 385 zt it had a fairr few more fins ect on it and looked really bad ass they should have dne it in a 4 wheel drive optoin aswll so it could compete withe the v8 4 wd competitoin

only one probelm with mg cars they wer priced too high !

my dad was the director of mg sport and racing and his 260 had the accufab throttle body, racing cams and racing pulleys. with those exhausts it was even louder and rasped a lot more. great noise from a great car. the zt 400 prototype was much more refined but in my opinion didnt sound as good.

my old man owns a ZT 135 diesel which has the 3 series BMW engine in it, fantastic car, dus bout 130 tops not much but good enough, and bout 37mpg realy good car, in trophy blue also.

I love the MG ZT 260. A great classical car design and the sound of a V8, that is really hot. I know, this car is more a cruiser than a racer. But for me it has so much more style and passion than a BMW.

I've just bought one of these - cracking car it is to! Do the Xpower exhausts improve the power much, 'cos I think it sounds just fine on the standard pipes? Mine's the same colour as the one in the video - anyone know what the MG name for that colour is?

Bit late reply but just incase you haven't found out.

Your colour is Trophy Blue.

Some people say that they improve power slightly but we didn't notice them when we had them installed. Another option to Xpowers are Zeroes and Cobra Sports if you prefer quads

X-Power pipes all the way (fart pipes?? What planet are you on matey?), but I want more power, 260 gee gees isn't enough for a 4.6 V8 in the UK -

An M3 churns much more, with less cylinders and CC... tho it doesn't quite have that sound track does it :D IF we all lived in America we simply wouldn't care :)

we have a zt 260, and we plan to get the dreadnought supercharger, it jacks it up to 450bhp. personally would like this the sound of the x power the looks of the originals

The stock exhausts look MUCH better, ie quad pipes! and sound like they "breath" better. The X-power single pipes are a bit more "brutal"!

X-Power all the way! I've got X-powers fitted to mine. I didn't realise just "$£%!!£& fantastic they sound until I stood behing mine with a mate blipping the throttle. Sounds like a NASCAR! :-)
