  • Donovan: Colonel! Jones is getting away!!!!

Vogel: I think not herr Donovan

Donovan: NOT THAT JONES THE OTHER JONES!!!

    Indy: AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • 1. Temple Of Doom / Last Crusade (both are magnificent. Can't decide which is better)

    2. Raiders

    3. Crystal Skull

  • *rides off into the sunset*

  • 1. TOD(it's the first one I saw and I still love it)

    2. Raiders

    3. Last Crusade

    4. Crystal Skull.

  • 1. Crusade/Raiders

    2. Adventures of Tintin

    3. Temple of Doom

    4. Crystal Skull

  • "INDIANA....Indiana.....let it go." finally, dad and son find each other in this scene. really touching. :___) Best Indy movie to me.

  • meh, y not:

    1 Crusade

    2 Raiders

    3 Temple

    4 Crystal

actually haven't seen crystal, but i probably would hate it

  • 1 Raiders

    2 crusade

    3 temple

    4 kingdom

  • Derp

    1. Raiders of the Lost Ark (10/10)

    2. The Last Crusade (9.25/10)

    3. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (7.5/10) (although i've seen it only once, in the theater)

    4. Temple of doom (5.5/10) (One of the most annoying movies i've ever seen. Is it the worst movie i've ever seen? Ofcourse not!)

  • Everybody else is doing it.

    1.Crusade

    2.Raiders

    3.TOD

    4.Crystal

I didn't mind Crystal, I liked it but the originals were best.

  • 7 people have chosen poorly....

  • Just my opinion but...

    1. TOD

    2. Crusade

    3. Raiders

    4. Crystal

  • we named the dog Indiana, lol

  • @Mercenary78 The doooooog? You are named after the dog?

  • @TheEffectsMan I had good memories of that dog.

  • then off they go, into the sunset..

but Noooo; they couldn't leave well enough alone -_-

    1 Temple

    2 Raiders

    3 Crusade.

  • @MrHEC381991 hated TOD.

    1) raiders

    2) crusade

    3) crystal skull

    4) TOD

  • @srv524 lol ok, kid

  • @MrHEC381991 THANK YOU. Finally someone else who's favourite is temple of doom. I like Crusade second, and I don't consider Crystal Skull an Indy movie.

  • @nexttrillionaire right on

  • i think all 4 movies are good, 2 is my favourite, but 3 is so beautiful indy is not looking for a treasure he's looking for his father.. it's a father-son movie..filled with light..all the contrary to the epic darkness of temple of doom

  • best indiana jones movie right here!!!!!!

  • They are working on their fifth movie.

  • @TheGoldenPS1 fuck really?! Here we go again -.-

  • @Mia646 They should have ended with the third movie. I don't like these sequels they ruin the whole concept of the third movies.

  • @TheGoldenPS1 I agree, Crystal Skull was just terrible, and it seems like after the 3 movies were made the directors just lost their touch and inspiration.

  • 7 people got los in their own museum

  • Isn't it weird the best Indiana Jones movies were odd numbered and the mediocre ones were even?

    Case in point:

Crystal skull and Temple of Doom: Even. Movies 2 and 4.

Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade: Odd. Movies 1 and 3.

Trivia: Spielberg made Last Crusade as an apology for Temple of Doom.

  • @fortminor85 I still enjoy the hell out of Temple of Doom. It is action packed from beginning to end and has one hell of an epic musical score.

  • @fortminor85 I think it's funny also because the movies with the nazis as the villains were better as well

  • @fortminor85 You mean to tell me that you didn't like Short Round? He was awesome! :D

  • @fightersanime Hey, I never said I never like Short Round. He's Data from The Goonies. Of course I like him.

  • 6 people meddled with powers beyond their comprehension!..RIP Denholm Elliott

  • Citizen Kane may be the most important film ever made, 2001 A Space Odyssey may be the most technically perfect and Casablanca may be the most emotionally grandiose, but I still stand by The Last Crusade as my favourite film. Whereas the first one is a perfect homage to the old serials, it doesn't contain the emotional heft of Crusade. No film has ever filled me with more excitement, laughter, fear, tears and joy. Finally, no film has ever defined my life quite like the Last Crusade.

  • "Looks like he..."

    /Puts on sunglasses

    "...Choosed poorly..."

  • Just listening to this makes the memories come flooding back. A time when movies were this magical experience and it was a special treat to go to the cinema. Damn i wish i was 8 again!

  • @thebryman ^this.

  • @HunterOfTheNight100 goose stepping morons but great quote yes

  • "I should have mailed it to the Marx Brothers."

  • Reading some of these comments, I still don't understand why everyone hates Indy 4.

  • run for your lives, warner bros has a bazooka

  • e mesmo a musica

  • 2:06 onwards makes me want to hop back on a horse (after all these years) and gallop off into the sunset!

  • Indy... Indy, let it go.

  • 6 ppl got lost in the museum...

  • Six people were just trying to make a whip! : )

  • Magnificent :)

  • Great! All soundtrack contucted by John Williams are great!

  • I like the Movie as it shows a personal sense of worth and not to mention it shows that people can reconcile.

Also, the music is just kick ass. I wonder how John Williams did this... Random inspiration I suppose.

  • the last crusade was my favourite of the 4 temple of doom sucked raiders of the lost ark was awesome kingdom of the crystal wasnt bad

  • @cursedboy96 I know what you mean, that woman in temple of doom was annoying when she screamed too much :/ That ruined the entire movie for me.

  • I listen to this in hopes of erasing Indy 4 from my memory.

That is a wound even the Grail can't heal!

  • @IG8E8 Amen brother.

  • 249 people have chosen wisely

  • Man this soundtrack is one of the best ive ever heard

  • Long life Indiana Jones!!!

  • Henry: Junior, give me your other hand!

Indy: I can almost reach it!

Henry: Indiana. Indiana, let it go.

My personal favourite scene from the Indy movies, it's just PERFECT!

  • absolutely amazing.. this music give me the goosebumps in a extremely good way.. I remember how happy and thrilled was when little watching this incredible trilogy..

  • dont call me junior!!!!

  • I hope this movie series goes on forever. I mean, there are so much things to discover. Ark of the Covenant is just a beginning. They already covered the mysteries of the Sankara Stones, Holy Grail, and Crystal Skulls. Stuff about Atlantis and Noah's Ark should be next.

  • @Alai912 are you the one pushing Fords weelchair and feed him trough a straw? He has become to old, and noone can replace him.

  • Indiana,...let it go.

  • Ok, so they went ahead and made another... Did I want one? No. But since they did I'm glad that- 1) they had Harrison Ford back- 2) they had Karen Allen back, and- 3) they set it at a historically appropriate time, aka Ford is older, so Indy should be too. While I'm not a fan of Shia LaBouef (sp), they could have done much worse...

My biggest complaint is that Sean Connery wouldn't come back, so they had to write him out. If he was in it, even for just one scene, it would've been amazing!

  • Those last two minutes always get to me.......

  • you were named after a dog!!!! lol

  • john williams does it again!!!!

  • Raiders Of The Lost Ark and The Last Crusade are 2 of my all time favorite movies.

  • @hunterof7shadows Valid point about Lucas, but as for Viggo, I don't think Indy should be portrayed by anyone except for Harrison Ford. He's just not like James Bond, he will only every be one actor. Harrison is Indy, and Indy is Harrison. Nobody could ever replace him.

  • @raterroyale well, there is YOUNG Indiana Jones. They should try and make a movie about Him, his old mentor Abner and Marion back in the 20's.

  • Indiana... Let it go.

  • @Tailikku1

    Yes, sir. Ha!

  • Best theme music EVER!

  • @GansoMen All the Indy movies have pretty epic music.

  • Harrison Ford and Sean Connery.......Wow!!! That was one of the best pairings I have ever seen in the movies.......This movie never fails to amaze me as do the other ones. These movies will always shine in the Spielberg, Lucas collection.

  • best indiana jones film

  • do you think if a kid watched all 4 today he would notice the difference between the first three and the fourth? no. the only reason all of us love the first 3 so much is because it reminds us of our childhood. same with the star wars prequels / originals. nostalgia blinds us.

  • @thecouncil84 I love the first three just because I think they're better movies... well at least RotLA and LC are (I actually like KotCS better than ToD). I never saw any of them until 3 years ago, so I don't think it's nostalgia. Raiders and LC are the most adventurous and fun to watch of the series. While KotCS is good, I still can't really bring myself to love the aliens/UFO element of the plot even if it did kind of fit with the time period.

As for the SW originals... no Hayden Christensen.

  • No wonder Indy is such a bad arse. He's pretty much half British. His dad was Scottish

  • Ah this brings back good memories. Me and my granddad used to watch this movie all the time, i loved the indiana jones movies ever since he introduced me to them when i was twelve, and i still think that last crusade is one of the greatest movies ever made. i'm reminded of the good times i used to spend with granddad, and how much i miss him.

    R.I.P., Granddad.

  • @turkeypue I can understand that, I'd watch movies with my grandmother all the time, especially movies like this. That's probly why I love them so much, cause they are genuinly good action/adventure films with very very little special effects and all that CGI crap that 90% of movies have today and b/c they remind me of my grandmother. I'm almost 21 and I still love and will always these movies and I want to introduce them to my kids like my grandmother did with me.

  • 01:20 - 02:06

    I personally love this part!

  • THIS MAKES ME THINKING ABOUT THE SAINTS' VICTORY. LOMBARDI TROPHY IS LIKE THEIR HOLY GRAIL.

  • the Indiana Jones series is what made me interested in History, corny and lame I know... and it also made me take an interest in archaelogy, why I got into Adolescent and child protection idk lol

  • @stace162 Me too! I got interested in history, foreign cultures, ect., after watching Raiders when I was a kid. When I got to college, I took an archeology class and enjoyed it and learned a lot. I'll never forget the professor, from Peru, who said on the first day in a heavy accent, "This is Archeology of the Americas ... It is NOT like Indiana Jones ... We don't mix politics and archeology." haha.

  • @chippewaman1975 Oops ... archaeology ... wrong spelling.

  • @chippewaman1975 yeah I took an anthropology class, and honestly I can say that it was one of the most interesting classes I've ever taken, the material just interested me alot. In the future I definately wanna take more classes, when I'm done my major in Adolescent and Child Protection but yeah I loved it !

  • I wanna name my dog Indy or Short Round in the future... <3

  • Harrison Ford should pick his own replacement if they were to do a 4th film (which I thought they were at one point), who else knows how to play Indy better then him right?

  • 00:40-1:10

    1:20-2:05

favorite parts of this piece, give me goosebumps every time!

  • everyone thinks that the Raider of the Lost Ark is the best one, but I prefer this one. Great movie, best Indy film by far.

  • My favorite part is the whole trilogy. Oh, and the fourth movie, with Cate Blanchett, yeah. But this, the Last Crusade, is the best.

  • got lost in his own museum, huh?

  • @BuellerBueller95 After you, Junior.

  • @wolverineaquajock2 junior...dad!

  • Along with Terminator 2 this film for me represents the end of the gold age of the blockbuster that kicked off with Jaws/Starwars.

  • @moreorless87 Jurassic Park?

  • As far as I know, the director intended this to be the last of the series, that's why he made it so they were riding off into the sunset. Still my favorite of the series.

  • @ZarosMilk me too then they made the new one o_O

  • if only sean connery had been in the fourth movie...

  • @ar2014 then people would've actually given a shit...

  • true it should have ended here, but the 4th one wasnt too bad, i mean they could have done a reboot of the series or something, but its still all and all a good film series, with this one being the best

  • I absolutely love the bit at 1:20

  • 3 people have chosen poorly . . . .

  • @KevSutemi8 3 people have turned into christpher lloyd and died . . . .

  • and thats why im getting my masters in the same field

  • I always listen to this in my car. Reminds me of the relationship I have with my Dad. It is one of the best of the Indiana Soundtracks. "Got Lost in his own Museum, Eh?"

  • I always listen to this in my car. Reminds me of the relationship I have with my Dad. It is one of the best of the Indiana Soundtracks.

  • the 3 people who disliked this beautiful finale are nazis

  • Indiana....

    ...Let it go.

man when that music kicks in, it touches me every time.

  • @YertleDaTurtle I know.

  • 3 people didn't have the name of their dog

  • that other unameable film never existed - wait, did i mention something?

  • You were named after the DOG?!?

  • @rcbpiccolo I've got a lot of fond memories of that dog!!

  • It's too bad that the series couldn't have ended with this one. It was perfect, you had Indy, his father, Sala and Marcus all riding off into the sunset together with this wonderful music playing. It was perfection, and it should have ended with that shot.

  • @da40flyer i agree the music would be a little unfitting though but it they rode slowly away it would have been a nice little ending. my favourite indiana jones movie because of Sean Connery, Marcus following indy on an adventure, Sala's return, the epic tank scene ,and other great scenes.

  • @da40flyer I couldn't possibly agree with you more. I almost burst out into tears of joy after I get done seeing this movie. Every time! lol

  • @da40flyer indiana jones shall nevah evah die!

  • @da40flyer completely agree, The Last Crusade is a truly phenomenal film and ended absolutely perfectly. Not to mention, how bad was the forth one?

  • @da40flyer agreed. and thats how spielberg and lucas wanted to end it. but they got so many people asking them when they were going to make another one and telling them they should. they should have just ignored everybody. for the most part i like Crystal Skully except for the ending with the space ship. otherwise the acting and the action in it was awesome. i dont think Ford can ever not kick ass. even at 62 he kicked more ass than Stallone. and he was steroid free

  • @da40flyer indiana has to grow old too

  • @vegetatheprince123 something just came to mind- technically indy cant die, he drank from the grail

  • @BuellerBueller95 Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think that counts once he crossed that marking on the floor in the cave thingy.

  • @BrokenCDprodux actually yea, i watched it a couple of days ago and i realized that too. after all, his dad drank from it too and he died so i put two and two together.

  • @BuellerBueller95

I wondered that too. I was like wait a minute...that can't be. I ultimately blame George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Two of the most prominent filmmakers in history have their names on a suck ass story line of one of the greatest action heroes of all time. That's a perfect example of not knowing when to quit.

  • @BuellerBueller95 hate to break it to you, but if you listen to the old knight in the temple, he said the "grail cannot pass the seal because it is the boundary and price of immortality." meaning, all it did was heal them, but did not prolong their lives.

  • @NewPhoenixFilms oooooh righttt. thanks

  • @da40flyer yeah, but you know Hollywood, ruining movies one classic at a time. It's sad actually...

  • @da40flyer

DING DING DING!!!!!! My thoughts exactly. The last movie does make you (in general) appreciate the old ones more.

  • @da40flyer Unfortunately it's most of the fans who are to blame, they kept calling for another Indy film, and they got what they wanted. However, though I'll admit the new film isn't as good as the others, it's still a decent popcorn flick, you've just got to view it as its own movie, separate from the others.

  • @da40flyer I think for a lot of Indy fans, like myself, that's how it did end. In my mind "Crystal Skull" doesn't really exist. I wasn't offended by the fourth film, I actually enjoyed it. It was pretty much what I expected. But it doesn't belong in the same realm as the timeless masterpieces Spielberg and Lucas crafted in the '80's. For me it always has, and always will be an Indiana Jones "trilogy".

  • @da40flyer Fucking George Lucas...go fuck up Star Wars, but leave Indy alone!

  • @raterroyale I know, right!!

  • @da40flyer the first three indy movies will always be my favorite movies of all time, but the 4th to me is like a bonus movie it doesnt really count to be included in the trilogy but its neat they made another they didnt have to they shouldnt have made another but they did. hopefully when they release indy on bluray they have the first 3 movies with kick ass cases and have indy 4 under special features as a bonus. i dunno lol.

  • @da40flyer It was intended to be so, but too many people kept asked for another or when the next was coming out.

  • Comment removed

  • @da40flyer that was what spielberg intended for.

  • @da40flyer exactly what I thought

  • @da40flyer I don't have any problems with the 4th movie. But I agreed with you, the series should have ended with that horses into sunset shot, nothing can be a more perfect ending than that. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is just a collection of past reminiscence of Indy's adventures, placing him in his father's shoes as the old man with a reckless son, and his one last adventure (with a freakin' NUKE!).

  • Upper left corner - So like Luciano Pavarotti

  • 0:40 to 1:07 omg... best part in my opinion.

  • @kevgamereveiws The grail theme always brings tears to my eyes when I hear it and the image of the ancient knight, finally released from his burden and his duty

  • 3 people must be Nazis that choose poorly.

  • This is simply brilliant.

  • man, that beginning of the song, that desert sound...man...

i remember watching this as a kid, best adventure all around anywhere. if there was anyone i had to be stuck with while poison darts were shot me, or if nazis were chasing me down with guns, it would be Indy for sure

  • Out of every 145 people theres 3 retards

  • 5:40 - 5:42 makes me think of Jurassic Park theme

  • (Indy hanging in a gap with Dad barely holding on to him)

Jones: I can reach it dad. I can feel the tip of it on my hands. I can reach it!

    Henry: Indiana...

(Jones is reminded from the sound of his name what is more important than just a piece of treasure...the love of a father).

    Henry: Indiana...

    (Jones looks up)

    Henry: Let it go...

(Jones' admiration for his father shines by hearing his name being called by Henry and they finally escape)

Best scene in a Film. ;)

  • @theprowler18 AWESOME DUDE

    Best scene in the saga

  • @theprowler18

I always get choked up when I see that scene. That whole movie is awesome. I wish they made movies like this now.

  • 0:21 - "Indiana............. let it go..."

  • BEST FILM MOVIE / MUSIC EVER

  • Jesus. I wasn't even alive when this film came out. Yet, here I sit listening to its score, twenty years later. This music LITERALLY travels from your ears to your heart. The only other kind of music that has ever done that to me is the Elder Scrolls IV soundtrack.

  • The best ending out of all four of them

  • 3 People are Nazis who chose, poorly.

  • This movie reminds me of my father. He passed away when I was 1 years old. I don't remember him at all, only that we watched this movie together at some point in time. When I die, my heaven is going to be my father and I going on Indiana Jones adventures.

  • "Got lost in his own museum, eh?"

  • i wish he would make another one

  • Sallah: You are named after a dog ?!? HAHAHAHAHA

  • John Williams - Legend, thank you for the music

  • Perhaps the best movie ever made: moving, exciting, epic!

  • Is there a Nazi-Theme??? Searching for!!!

  • @Grima21

I remember this little song that always played when the Nazis were on screen..... but I don't remember what it was called...

  • @Grima21

I take that back! The song towards like 6:20 in this long is the Nazi theme!
