  • Bahamut 2.1 looked great. There's only CP, no diagram for this version. I have to fold it from the base of Bahamut 2.0 in the book "Works of Kamiya Satoshi". But it looked not as nice as Satoshi's.

  • im only 9 years old but im already making up my own origami so i might be like him when im older

  • @olivencrackers2 JUST BELEIVE!!! but to make origami he has takes lots of math and preplanning... so pretty much you need to come up with the whole model in your head and fold it, but it takes a whil D:

  • This guy is really good!

Some Brazilians see me do canaries and small dragons, and I feel wonderful, but this guy ...

It is the king of origami!

    Very, very good!

The Last Dragon Video does not seem to have been done with just a sheet.

    He is really great!

I'm sorry if there are any mistakes in this comment ... I used an online translator, because I'm horrible in English

    : P

Congratulations. I envy you, wish I had 10% of this gifted ...

  • @hugocastro10 you should see eric Joisel, he is better (for me) and more "artistic"

  • @hugocastro10 The last dragon in the video is called the Ryuzin/Ryujin, and it is folded from one piece of paper, but a very big paper. It's folded from a 2m x 2m paper. I know this because I have one of his books, he wrote it with a few other origamists. It's called "World of Super Complex Origami", which is the English name but I'm not sure about the Japanese name. The crease pattern for the Ryuzin is there, and it explains how Satoshi Kamiya made it, though it's all in Japanese...

  • THIS IS TRUELY AMAZING!!! HIS CREATIONS ARE MY MUSE!

  • woah..i watch until wanna cry...= =...a TRUE ARTIST!!!

  • Could anyone subtitle this amazing video?? Thanks

  • @minisergium Go to google translate, copy the video title, paste it , translate it, and you get the title in english: ''Origami of god Satoshi Kamiya. But I dont know about video subtitles

  • omg! never seen anything like it...

  • @firefighterfightfire not even in Los Angeles?

  • What kind of paper is he using?

  • @aDotFromTheFuture for the black one, he used traditional japanese paper

  • @YogoTailsPrower But how can I order that paper? How do I must ask it for? Name?

  • @JeanusPaulus i have no idea. i guess you can get them in japan but that was obvious... it's called "Washi (和紙)".

  • @JeanusPaulus

As YogoTailsPrower mentioned, you should ask for "Washi" (papel del japón).

If any craft stores or art supply stores don't carry them, then organizations like Asociación México Japonesa or Fundacion Japón en México maybe able to help you.

I heard Amate (papel de amate) is very similar to Washi. It might be easier (and cheaper) for you to find good-quality Amate paper instead of Washi.

  • porque chngados el periodico esta en español?

  • HE IS ORIGAMI MASTER

  • waht paper is used in the divine dragon?

  • @Ritch987 Usually Foil paper

  • foil is not good the shiny surfaces make the models bad looking even if you fold it nicely. best materials are hand-made papers with with fibers of plants, like various kinds of mulberry paper. i found a very good mulberry paper that is really thin yet super strong, and also crisp enough. these are quite expensive though

He uses origamido paper imo, that is the top-quality origami paper, but it's rarely in stock and super expensive.

  • wow, this guys is amazing, i get chills when i see the aintent dragon..

  • Really beatiful, this is the most hard origami in the world? 5/5

  • nope it's not the most difficult but it's really hard to do

  • not at all, just takes a lot of time. some of robert lang's insects have the hardests steps imo

  • this man is brilliant!

a fucking genius and an astounding artist.

  • can anyone tell me what kind of paper he was using plis.. .mmmmmmmMMM?

  • It's called Washi (和紙).

  • It's not actually washi, he says in the forewore of his book that it's a hand made paper, made by michael La Fosse, i think that's his name :P But either way, he only makes paper for sale a few times in a year, and then he get's bought out by all the origami greats... so basically it's extremeley hard to get hold of, sucks to be us!

  • here in Peru we call it "papel arco iris" it could be... rainbow paper? xD
